★3rd Person★
The party was set up better than Sunwoo expected, they'd picked good music, managed to get their hands on good alcohol, they'd also set up a few games. Beer pong, ring toss in the sand. There was a bon fire too with a table of assortments of marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers- Sunwoo had to admit, it was a good party.
When they got there everyone was already present, some were even drunk already. The bon fire was the most popular activity if Sunwoo had to guess.
Immediately after their arrival, Juyeon made a beeline for beer pong. Currently it was Yeonjun and some junior, Heeseung. He was on the soccer team with Yeonjun.
Yeonjun tossed the ping pong ball, and the way it was heading it looked like Yeonjun missed. Except he didn't, the ball bounced on the rim and directly into the cup. Heeseungs last cup.
Everyone around the table erupted into cheers as Heeseung chugged his last beer cup.
"Who's next?" Arin called out.
Immediately Juyeon raised his hand and strutted to his side of the table. And on the other side, another junior approached the table.
Arin seemed pleasantly surprised.
"Okay, for this round we have Juyeon, star quarterback versus..." She looked in the juniors direction. Sunwoo guess she didn't even know his name.
"Jaehan." The junior helped her out.
"Jaehan!" Arin repeated, just louder. "Remember, each of you gets three balls, if you land all three, you get one ball back and can try for a fourth, this repeats until you either get all the cups or until you miss."
And so the game started and it was not looking good for Juyeon, as for the first round Juyeon missed all but one ball. For Jaehan's turn, he was able to land all three but he missed the fourth.
Next to Sunwoo was Chanhee, Eric had separated from them to sit next to Jacob at the bon fire. Sunwoo heard a quiet ding, and then saw Chanhee check his phone.
"I'll be right back." Chanhee said quietly and walked away before Sunwoo could ask where he was going.
Sunwoo turned back to the game and saw that Jaehan had landed three more balls. Juyeon looked stressed, and tipsy. Each side had ten cups, Juyeon was already down six, while Jaehan was only down two.
"This is what you were bragging about all the way from the hotel?" Sunwoo asked Juyeon, a little incredulously.
Juyeon gave Sunwoo a displeased glare and turned back to the game. He threw his three balls, and surprisingly landed two of them.
Eventually Jaehan won the game by a landslide, but of course because he's a sore loser he demanded a rematch.
"Okay, but I'll tell you right now, you're just gonna embarrass yourself times two." Jaehan chuckled as they waited for Arin to refill the cups.
"Shut up, junior." Juyeon quipped.
Sunwoo looked around, suddenly realizing Chanhee still hadn't returned. It's been almost half an hour and he's still not back.
Then Sunwoo spotted him, he was near the shore. He sat against a big rock, he was looking up. The moon was full and very bright, he assumed that's what he was looking at.
Sunwoo made his way over to him, the closer he got the clearer he saw Chanhee. When he reached the rock Chanhee was sitting against he noticed that Chanhee had his eyes closed.
"Hey, what are you doing out here?" Sunwoo asked.
Chanhee opened his eyes and looked at Sunwoo. He shrugged.
