Unknown's POV

I looked at Ariana walk through the halls. I leaned on my locker just staring at her from affar.

I got my phone out and dialled his number. "Hey." I said into the phone. "Are you out?"

"Yes you dumbass." He said annoyed on the other line. I laughed at his little name for me.

"Sorry grumpy pants." I mocked. "Whatever, I need you to go and get the girl by next week." He said.

I groaned as I walked out of the school. "Fine."

Austin's POV

As I walked through the halls in a rush to my class I bumped into someone. I quickly grabbed the person for them not fall on the dirty floor.

Once I looked at the person I froze. Ariana's eyes widened also and looked into my eyes. There was no one in the halls anymore but me and Ariana.

She was breathing a little heavy and i could tell i was too. We were still in the same position, my arm wrapped around her waist tighty and her hand on my chest.

"Ariana." I breathed out. Suddenly she pulled away from me brushing her shirt off.

"Austin." She nodded at me before walking past me.

I turned around quickly grabbing her wrist. She pulled her wrist back with fear in her eyes. "Are you.. scared-" She cut me off.

"Of you? Yeah." She said.

"But why?" I asked worried. "Are you kidding me? You put me through hell and back and all you said was 'sorry', and yeah I sort of forgave you but I never forgot all the nasty words you said to me." She said.

I furrowed my eyebrows. "I won't hurt you. I promise." I whispered as I took a step closer to her.

He let out a shaky breath and looked down at her shoes. I placed my pointer finger under her jaw and lifted her head up so I could see her eyes.

She took a step backwards and I caught a glimpse of her eyes, there were tears in her beautiful eyes.

"You promise?" She asked.

"I promise." I whispered pulling her into a hug.

She, surprisingly, wrapped her arms around my torso and hugged back.

Ariana's POV

Later that night I walked to my house. I haven't been in my house since everything happened.

I sighed as I walked into the house and put my things down in my bed. I pulled out my phone and called Justin.

No answer.

I sighed as I walked downstairs and to his house. He also didn't come to school today... which was weird.

Once I got to his house I saw his car was in the driveway. I smiled a little and walked up the doorsteps.

I brought him some chocolates I had in my kitchen, to make him better. I might have ate one or two on the way... oops?

I laughed at myself a little as I opened the door with the spare key under the mat. "Justin?" I called out.

I didn't hear anything so I assumed he was in his room. I walked towards his bedroom and heard no noise.

I opened the door and I soon regretted it. Justin was on top of a girl and was shoving his tongue down her throat.

I dropped the pack of chocolates on the floor as I looked at them pull apart quickly. Justin looked at me then back at the girl.

"Ari-" He was about to speak but I soon got cut him off by running out the door. Have I never been enough? How many girls has he cheated on me with?

I sobbed as I walked past my house. I needed to go somewhere to calm my nerves.

I ran towards the tree house behind the park. I always used to come to this abandoned tree house as a little girl.

I quickly climbed up the tree house and just stared out the little window. There was a little pond across the tree house, it was beautiful.

I cried even more as I kept repeating how Justin was on top of that girl. I curled up in a little ball and soon fell asleep.

Austin's POV

My mother and I got in a fight not long ago about being home late. Pathetic.

I walked towards my little tree house across the pond. I always used to com to this tree house as a little kid, those were the good days..

I climbed up the latter and pulled my self up. I closed the little opening and walked towards a little window.

It was about 1 in the morning and the stars were shining. I heard something vibrating next to me.

I reached out and saw it was a phone. I pressed the home button and the screen lit up. There was messages and missed calls.

I quickly unlocked the phone, that had no code, and read through the messages.

Hey please listen to me out.

I can't sleep. I need you here.

I'm sorry it's not what it looks like. Please answer my calls and texts.xxx

Ariana please she kissed me first and I got carried away. I'm so sorry xxx

My eyebrows furrowed in anger. Justin cheated on Ariana. But why is Ariana's phone here?

I looked around and saw Ariana laying on the wooden floor asleep. I walked over to her and tapped her shoulder.

She quickly sat up and looked at me with sad mixed with sleepy eyes. Her eyes were puffy and her cheeks were rosy. "Ariana?" I said. "That prick cheated on you?"

She looked down at her hands and sat up. "Yeah. I caught him making out with a girl." She whispered.

I pulled her into my arms and laid both of us down. "Shh. It's okay, babe. Don't cry over that prick." I whispered wrapping an arm around her tiny waist.

She snuggles up into me and I swear I could hear my own heart beating fast. I fell asleep with a small smile that night.
