Chapter 12

Justin's POV

Right now we're at the store. I walk behind Ari as we go in.

Ari grabs some sweets while I go and get the chips.

While she was looking carefully for the sweets I go behind her and pick her up.

She laughed and so did I.

Her laugh is amazing.

You see I actually have a little crush on Ari, even tho we're best friends.

I in love with her smile.

Laugh.

Giggle.

The way she dresses.

The way she furrows her eyebrows when she's confused.

She's just perfect.

She's the most ama-

"Earth to Justin!!" She waves her hand in front of my face. "Could you put me down." she laughs.

Oh god that laugh is music to my ears.

"Oh I'm yeah. Sorry." I say as I put her down and she giggles.

She grabs the sweets and shoves some chips into my chest and grabs my hand.

"Let's go!!" She said once I paid for the stuff.

"Ok!! Ok hold on." I said laughing grabbing the bags.

"Well I really want to go and watch movies!!" she said laughing.

One we got in the car we both sighed at the same time then chuckled.

"I want to have the sleepover at your house." she said smiling.

"Sure." I said.

"Whoohoo!!!" she yelled pointing forwards. "Lets gooo!!" she said.

I laughed and shook my head at her childishness.

Once we got home she ran then did a front flip and landed on the couch.

"Show off." I said and stuck out my tongue. She stuck hers out. "Its called taking gymnastics." she said.

"My moms gone for a business trip for 3 weeks. So it's just you and me in this huge house." I said.

"Cool." she said looking down.

"Why don't you take your hoodie off and puts some shorts on its hot." I said taking off my shirt.

"It's.. um.. cold." She said not looking at me.

"Please." I said.

She sighed. "Oh um ok but don't laugh." she said warningly. "I won't I promised." I said sitting down next to her.

She took a deep breath and took off her sweatshirt.

She had bruises all over her arms. And some finger prints on her forearms.

"Ari wh-" she cut me off.

"Nothing it, it's nothing. Now are we gonna get this sleepover cranking or not." she said while giggling.

I faked smiled and she frowned.

"What's wrong, babe?" she asked. My heart fluttered when she called me babe. Wow that sounded gay. ( I don't have a problem with gay people I respect them.)

"Nothing it's just- the bruises." I said looking down at them.

"Justin I-" I cut her off.

"No!! Don't tell me it was nothing Ari. I don't like to see you bruised and broken." I said. "Every time I look in your eyes, I only see that your broken and sad." I took a hold of her hands and stood up.

"Ari your all that matters to me. I don't like to see you hurting. It breaks my heart." I hugged her.

"Justin it's ok. Please. I know you care but you can't do anything about it." she said hugging me back.

"Ari please understand that-" I was cut off.

"No." she said pushing me back. "Stop acting like you know me. Like you know my story. You just feel sorry for me. I don't even know if your really my friend. I'm tired of getting attached to someone and then leaving me." she said crying.

"I'm tired of getting pushed around just because I'm a freak or I'm just not good enough. You don't know me. You don't know my story." She said.

"Justin tell me the truth." I looked down. "Are you really my friend or just someone who feels sorry for me?" she asked.

"Baby, I really am your friend. You can count on anything for me. I love you." I said the words just falling out of my mouth. I looked up at her and she just walked towards me.

"I love you to." She whispered while hugging me.

I hugged back. Oh Ari, if only you knew what kind of I love you I meant.
