Chapter 39

Justin's POV

I saw Austin zooming out the door and I soon ran after. I almost fell on my face trying to run down the stairs but I managed.

I felt as if I couldn't breath. My whole world came crashing down.

My silent tears turned into sobs as the ambulance came through the door and checked for a pulse.

I looked at Austin who was in shock. Ariana's body was carried away and I ran after getting into the ambulance with her.

Austin sat next to me watching as the paramedics put on an oxygen mask and a bandage on her wound.

Once we got to the ambulance she was rushed to the surgery room. I cried into my hands as I saw my mom come through the door with Austin's mom.

Austin was crying in a seat from across from me.

Soon a girl who looked a bit like Ariana came through the door with teary eyes ran towards Austin and wrapped her arms around him.

She sobbed into his chest. I, in confusion, walked towards her and turned her around.

She looked a lot like Ariana. "Are y-you Justin?" She asked as she tried not to burst into tears again.

I nodded and furrowed my eyebrows. "I'm Tiarna. I'm not sure if you were there the last time Ari was in the hospital but I'm Ariana's twin sister."

I took a step backwards and looked at the floor with a confused expression. I looked back up at her and shook her hand.

"Nice to meet you." I said. She nodded before going back and talking to Austin.

I saw Tiarna talking on the phone before 5 boys British boys dressed in black from head to toe, came through the automatic doors.

Behind them was 4 Australian boys. I saw Michael had dyed his hair black.

I looked back down breaking down into tears once again. I felt someone patting my back.

"Everything's gonna be alright, mate." I looked up and saw it was Ashton. He smiled sadly.

All the boys were standing around me with sad expressions and some crying.

I nodded and quickly stood up walking towards the front desk. "How long does surgery take?" I asked quietly.

"About and hour or two." She said. "But since they took her in quickly it will be one hour or half an hour."

I nodded and she looked at me flirty and twirled her hair on her pointer finger. I gave a confused expression.

She didn't look old, she looked about 23 or 21. She was a pretty lady but just..no.

"Is she your sister? Because if she is I'm always here for any nee-" I cut her off angrily.

"No, bitch. That is my beautiful girl in there fighting for her life. I have made mistakes but I know I can fix them one way or another. So get your ugly, old lady, thirsty ass back on that seat and start doing your job before I report you. I can't believe you were telling me that while I'm in tears and haven't had a wink of sleep. You know my situation because I'm more than sure you've been through it at least once." I said with furrowed eyebrows.

She looked at me dumbfounded and I walked away from her. I walked back to my chair where the Aussies were.

I saw Tiarna walk towards me until she was standing right in front of where I was sitting.

"Hey. How you doing?" She asked. I shook my head as the waterworks started and I was full on sobbing just thinking about what of Ariana were to die.

She patted my back as Luke walked up to me and hugged me.

I hugged back and pulled away minutes after. I saw he had tears in his eyes and he quickly looked down walking back I where Michael was.

Soon we all heard, "Ariana Grande?"

We all stood up and walked towards the doctor. "Only family members." He said sadly.

I shook my head as if telling him she didn't have any. He nodded asked me, "You're her...?"

Austin snapped his head towards me and I glanced at him then looked back at the doc. "Boyfriend." I told him.

I saw Austin shake his head and glare at me.

The doctor nodded and looked at me with a sad expression.

"Walk with me." He said
