*Lyra's P.O.V.*
I couldn't believe what I heard. There was no possible way it could be true. I did not want to believe it.
"Yeah," Red sighed once again, "we have to go..."
"Why?" I could feel myself almost shed a tear. I didn't want my new friends to leave me.
Leaf shut her eyes, her luscious eyelashes shimmering under the light. "We just have to," she explained, "even though we don't want to."
Gold and Crystal scoffed, ignoring the farewells of our friends. Well, my friends. How could they not care?
Blue placed a comforting hand on my shoulder, saying, "Don't worry, Lyra. Its for the best. Besides, we don't want to interrupt your adventure to go on a quest to find Green..."
The group gave each other some sad stares before they began to head off. Blue seemed to be the most upset.
Perhaps her feelings for Green were deeper than the others.
I turned around, looking to my 'friends' for comfort. But they had already sat themselves on a bench near the Pokemon Center, which they decided to kiss on. Of course they would resume their kissing once my new pals had left.
I frowned as I watched Gold share his passion with Crystal. Why would a girl like me have a shot with him? I can't even hit the best part of puberty.
His dark, raven locks fell neatly to the side of his face. His cheeks flushed a vibrant pink. His lightly shut eyes revealed his long eyelashes.
My heart began to pump speedily. Blood filled my cheeks and raised the temperature in my head. My lips felt larger and began to purse like Gold's.
"Why won't he love me?"
My quiet remark couldn't be heard by anyone. I might as well have been invisible. Or better yet, never been born...
*Blue's P.O.V.*
Where are you Green Oak?
Why the hell did you run off?
Where the hell did you run off to?
Why couldn't you have stayed with us?
Why didn't you at least come back?
Do you hate us?
Do you hate me?
Why couldn't I just be a nice girl and not jump to conclusions?
I just wanted to be all yours, so why didn't you just come out to me?
I love you, Green Oak.
"Blue?"
Red's caramel voice filled my ear, swimming sweetly to my chest. I felt a bit lighter, almost as if I could fly. Oh how I would've loved to be free.
"Yeah?" My response spilled from my lip informally.
A warm smirk crept into his cheeky face. "He'll be okay," he said optimistically, "so you don't have to worry."
I understood him, but didn't feel much better. All I wanted at the moment was to find Green. I would do anything for him, even if it meant my life.
Red held Leaf's hand in front of me as we walked on a route I couldn't have cared less about. I couldn't help but gush at the couple's cuteness. Wait. Were Red and Leaf a couple?
"H-hey," I stuttered, felling uneasy, "Red, Leaf?" The two of them looked back at me, both smiling happily. After last night's episode, I wondered how the two managed to make up. "Are you two..."
Red nodded.
Leaf shook her head, flustered.
Leaf blurted, "We talked about it, but haven't decided!" while Red calmly explained, "I proposed going steady..."
In a fit of confusion, I brushed off the answers with an "okay?" Those two would definitely make a fabulous couple.
