*Blaze's P.O.V.*
We all met in a usual Pokemon Center living quarter. Everyone circled around the living area and chatted. A lot of things had been done since Fire and I had been gone.
Fire put a comforting hand on my right shoulder. He said, "Yeah, we went through a lot." The others eyes is curiously. It was understandable considering we were covered in filth from the mine work we had done before returning.
"What happened to you guys?" Everyone nodded in sync when Leaf had asked her concerning question.
"Well," Fire dragged his words, scratching the back o his head as he came up with an excuse, "we were kind of held under arrest in the future..."
''What?" seemed to be the only phrase anyone in the room could conjure.
"Yeah," Fire sighed. "Like I've said before, the future isn't a nice place." I nodded to confirm his statement. "Besides, I'm sure everything will be okay."
BANG!
Our heads all jerked to face the pounding sound from the door. Lyra was first to jump up from her place on the floor to reach the door. When she opened it, a familiar red head stood there to accept her hug.
"Silvy!" Lyra sang.
Silver had a face of disgust. "I thought I had already told you not to call me that..."
"Awe," Lyra whined with a suggestive hint of playfulness. Gold scoffed, but he too stood to approach the red head.
"'Sup, Silvy?" Silver shot a death stare at the yellow eyed boy before sighing in defeat.
"I'm fine..."
Lyra threw her arms around the two boys and giggled. "At least everyone is okay! Right?"
"Speaking of," Silver breathed from within Lyra's grasp, "how are you even alive... Goldy?"
Gold smiled from under Lyra's arm. "Unlike you, I get turned on by nicknames..."
Lyra began to laugh uncontrollably while Silver grew embarrassed. He did not enjoy Gold's playful banter nor his flirting. Gold began to chuckle along with Lyra.
"So," Kris smiled, "let's just move on to Silver's question..."
Leaf answered gladly, "Well my little Cleffa managed to use its heal pulse to save some of the racers. Why do you ask?"
Silver began to blush. From what I could tell with all of my previous encounters with the red head, he did not fancy the idea of making friends.
Silver mumbled something we couldn't hear."What was that?" Gold teased.
Silver cringed. "I was worried when I saw him get trampled on TV..."
Gold went into a fit of hysterical laughter. Lyra let go of the boys so she could cover her mouth to block out her horrible snorting. We all giggled a bit at the contagious laughter.
"So how has it been, Silver?" Kris asked the red head through bits of giggling.
Silver kept his cool facade. "Oh, just some training, nothing much..."
Leaf rose from the couch. "I'm going to check on dinner. 'Be right back...." She left to go to the kitchen nearby.
Green smiled. "It's been nice to see everyone again." He looked around, his eyes stopping on me. "Who's this kid? I don't believe we've had a formal introduction."
I gulped.
"He's Blaze," Fire answered. "He's mute; he can't talk."
Green nodded. "Seems legit. So why is he here?"
Fire sighed. "Well actually, he's my brother..." Red's eyes widened the way I imagine they did when Fire revealed he was his son.
"Leaf and I have two kids?" Shock rang through Red's face as he mumbled the question.
Fire shook his head. "You have two kids. Blaze is actually my half brother..."
"Dinner is ready!"
Lyra ran to the kitchen to help Leaf serve dinner while the rest of us continued the awkward conversation. I could her the quiet clattering of stacked plates being taken out of the cupboard and the sounds of metal spoons hitting the china. A rich aroma of fresh Tauros meat lingered in the air.
"So who's Blaze's mother?" Seemed to be the question everyone had.
Fire shook his head in response. "Telling you guys could upset the balance of the world and throw off the timeline, altering the future in ways we couldn't imagine." I nodded.
"Well then," Green sighed, "too much to ask I guess..."
"Yeah," Crystal added, "it seems like a very complicated issue we would be dealing with."
Blue laughed. "Whelp. There is nothing we can do about it now!"
Leaf and Lyra returned with many plates of food balancing on their limbs from the palms of their hands to their shoulders. They managed to let the dishes slide off of their arms and onto the coffee table in the center for us to eat. We each grabbed a plate and began to eat.
My stomach growled deeply when the tender meat hit my tongue. Taste buds extracted the flavor and I found the sensation rather pleasing to be eating the cooking from my brother's mother. I ignored the rice and went straight for the meat.
"Wow, Blaze," Fire chuckled, "I forgot how long it's been since you actually ate a large meal."
Everyone joined in on the laughter.
*Lyra's P.O.V.*
I found the conversation rather pleasant. The time travelers really did add something to the group that could otherwise not really be achieved through other means. Not only that, but everyone seemed to get along like never before.
I eyed Silver who was not enjoying Gold trying to feed him with his chopsticks. I giggled quietly to myself as to not have anyone know I was watching the boys' little quarrel. Oh, I love them two so much!
"So are we a group again?" I asked. Everyone nodded. I cheered and looked at the time travelers. "Wanna join?"
They nodded.
We were officially all friends. Best friends in my eyes. And they were mine at that. I actually have a life now...
