*???'s P.O.V.*
"The time has finally come. Head here. You will know what to do once you've arrived."
That message played on repeat on my head. How could I possibly know what to do? What exactly did he mean by that? All I did was follow the instructions and paced onward...
*Blaze's P.O.V.*
I sat alone in a dark ally somewhere in Violet City. Fire had planned to tell his 'family' about our time traveling misadventure this evening. I wasn't allowed to tag along, so instead I decided to build shelter.
I dug up newspaper from the freezing cement of the ally's ground to craft a bed. With the scrap I gathered, I piled it close to the wall so I could at least be somewhat shielded from an unexpected rain. I rest my tiresome body on the mattress I had created hoping to sleep.
"You!"
I jolted up from the newspaper in worry. I met with cold grey eyes that filled themselves with anger. Silver had grown furious at the sight of me.
"Where is your friend?"
I shrugged.
"Listen here, you mute. If you're lying to me, I will kick your pathetic ass and rip your limbs to shreds! Where is he?"
I have no response.
"Is he with someone?"
I nodded, frightened.
"A girl?"
I nodded with guilt for throwing Fire under the bus.
"Does she have brown hair?"
I nodded again.
"Brown eyes?"
Again, I nodded.
"A red and white hat?"
I nodded once more.
"Are her clothes red and blue?"
I gave one final nod before Silver let out a screech of fury. He threw himself at me, cursing. His solid fist launched at my face like missiles.
My stomach churned in agony. Skin split. Boiling blood leaked. Shocks fired through the nerves of my frail person. Weak cries were the only thing that managed to escape from my mouth.
"You're going to die!"
I withdrew myself from his violent acts. I hoped for Fire to return soon, but luck had never been on my side. I coughed up blood as I called for my friend to aid me.
"Stop it, you big meanie!"
Silver paused my beating and looked down the ally. I could see it was a girl with yellow hair, the color of lemons. She stomped closer to us.
"Who the hell are you?" Silver scoffed.
"That doesn't matter to a bully like you," she pouted. "Why don't you tell me who you are before I give you a piece of my mind!"
"Oh yeah? What is a dumb blonde going to do? Try and scratch me without breaking a nail?"
The blonde looked down at her nails for a moment. "Why would I worry about breaking a nail?"
"Because you're a girl."
"What does me being a girl even matter?" She pouted.
"Never mind," Silver growled viciously. "Just go away and mind your own business!"
"I will," she shouted childishly, "once you get off that boy and promise not to bully anyone ever again!"
"No promises," Silver smirked, getting off of my blood covered body. He approached the blonde and shoved her to the ground. "Now give me a reason for you to live..."
"I have friends that can kick your butt if you lay another hand on me!"
Silver smiled. "Imaginary friends don't count." He rolled her over with his foot. "Which part of your body do you care about the least?"
"What?" The blonde tried to get up off her stomach, but Silver kicked her back down on the ground. She gave a weak grunt. Silver strikes her side aggressively forcing an ear piercing screech from the girl.
"Answer hm question so we can continue on with your lesson." The blonde remained silent. The only sound was the small whimpers of her crying. Just as Silver formed a fist and fired at her head, a powerful blast shattered the ground beneath him, tossing him away from her.
A purple figure crept out of the shadows of the alley. In the darkness, a sharp glare glowed a brilliant aqua. It lifted the girl from the broken concrete, holding her snuggly in its arms. The purple being jumped high, vanishing into the night sky.
"Mew Two," Silver murmured near me, his voice stricken with fear. He got up from his landing position and darted away from the scene, leaving me alone. Alone for two freezing, deadly hours, Fire finally returned.
"Blaze!" He yelled in concern. "What happened?"
