{On hiatus} Pokemon; A Johto Adventure

Encounter

*Red's P.O.V.*
The five of us shared a table in the dining hall of the Pokemon Center. We munched away on some crackers Green bought from a vending machine as we chatted. Lyra really interested us.
"So what about that Gold guy?" Blue asked, curious. Lyra flushed a pale pink. We all laughed. "I meant about his personality. We already went over you loving him and all."
"Well," Lyra stopped and thought. She beamed a bright smile and answered, "He's really cute and all, but he can be kind of a jerk. He's one of those macho types. He acts tough, which might be the reason I like him so much?"
I remembered back to earlier when he tossed on her bed. He played the role Lyra explained perfectly. But I can't help but feel that there's a bit more to him...
"Hey! Look there guys," Green whispered, nodding his head as a way if pointing in a direction. A boy dressed in all red passed our table with a bouquet of flowers. "It's Red's doppelgänger!"
The boy looked to be our age. His chestnut eyes matched his light brown hair, which had been cut shorter than mine. He had my face and body structure, confirming to be my look-alike. What an oddity?
A Pikachu, who looked much older than mine, followed the boy to the front counter. He handed the bouquet to Nurse Joy, asking her if it was okay if she could give it to someone.
"Certainly! Who might I ask I the lucky girl, or, erm, boy?"His face burned when she said this quite loudly. My table giggled at him silently.
"A girl named Leaf."
Our group suddenly muted ourselves. We stared at each other in shock. Why was he giving flowers to Leaf?
"Hey!" Leaf called out to the boy. He gave a frightened face before fleeing. Nurse Joy grinned.
"You must be Leaf," she assumed and approached our table. "He wanted me to give you these." The happy nurse handed over the arrangement. "They are quite beautiful. You are such a lucky girl." She left humming the Center's theme that had been playing in the background.
Leaf sniffed her flowers. Bright violet orchids, midnight blue roses, white lilies and some kind of fern brunched up into the bouquet. The aroma of the floral arrangement scented of great sweetness and fresh air. It was quite a delight.
Leaf noticed a small white card hanging by a ribbon. She took the tag attached to the flowers and opened it. She read the message out loud.
"Dear Leaf,
You are a wonderful girl. I've witnessed you're beauty from afar and wish to meet with your gorgeous face. I hope you feel the same...
~Your secret admirer"
Leaf giggled cutely when she finished reading the message. We all stared at her with uncertainty. She stopped as soon as she realized we were staring.
"What?" she asked, sounding a bit uneasy. "I just thought his flowers and message were adorable. But nothing will ever be cuter than my little rose..." Leaf subtly tapped my nose. Her playful poke made a smile crawl upon my face.
