Red lay unconscious upon the concrete slab, his limbs tied down with leather material. A woman with lemon hair let her pink lips curl, nearly pursing in a purely manner. Cherry blobs whirling, his Red's eyes crept open. He winced.
"Well, look who's up."
Red's vision blurry, he coughed, his throat dry. "Where am I?" The blonde Scruggs his dark hair, taking a large whiff. He maintained his scent: dry sweat and adventure.
"Try the future, lover boy."
Red wormed around in his bounds. He let hot soft breaths as he observed his situation. The leather, he knew, would be too hard for him to break through. His pokeballs rest on his belt, too far from grasp. The cold slab beneath him sent chills through his back, creating that perfect sense of imprisonment. What could he have possibly done to deserve this? His vision cleared.
The lemon hair quickly triggered a realization. "Yellow," was the name Red could muster in an instant. Now, what he once knew as an innocent girl with a bouncy love for life was now a proper woman of perfect posture and a scowl as deep as a scar. She sat next to the slab in a rustic wooden chair, petting Pikachu behind the ears where he liked. He didn't seem threatened one bit taking the situation into consideration.
"Red." Yellow's long eye lashes covered her lemon eyes as they narrowed away, as if she grew suddenly shy. Her hand slipped across Pikachu's back. "I'm sorry this has to happen. Her eyes flashed instantly, a twinkling concealing a dark truth.
"What?"
"You're going to have to die, obviously."
Red's arm stretched the leather slightly as he whiplashed upward in attempt to react. His shock was only working against him, the thick binding rubbing hard against his once soft skin. He was trapped with himself on the cold slab of concrete.
"You ruined me. You ruined lots of people," Yellow explained, a tear escaping from her mean facade. "You don't even know the half of it."
Red's eyes stared blankly at the woman in her mid thirties.
"The only way to get rid of you completely is to kill the you from the past."
"What did I do?" Red's panic showed on the raw skin exposed from the tearing leather rubbing against his wrist as he tried to jerk free.
"It's more what you will do."
Red calmed down, asking, "Why? What happens?"
"You met Flame, right?" Yellow took another tender stroke across the electric mouse's back.
"Yeah, what about it?"
"Your son?"
"I know."
Yellow bobbed her head, biting her bottom lip. "And Blaze?"
"Flame's friend?"
"Your other son?"
Red's eyes nearly shut, processing the situation. He could only shake his head in desperation, only hoping it wasn't true. "What happens? What happens to Leaf?"
"Nothing," Yellow choked, "you idiot!" Red, on the verge of crying, wailed curse words. He would have an affair.he would betray his lover and would never know why. He'd follow in his father's footsteps and flee from the nest before teaching his young to fly.
"Why do I do it?"
"You felt like you do now: tied down. An adventurous boy like yourself needs to see the world I guess. But you do get what's coming, freezing to death on Mount Silver."
