Kristen POV:
Sierra took April and I up the staircase and through a maze of rooms. From the outside it looked like a simple two story house, but it was seemingly larger on the inside.
She stopped before a door with a wooden palette hung on it. Her name was written in purple on the palette, as the other rooms each held the name of the respective sibling, and in a different colour.
Pushing the door open, I can't help but smile at the sight of the room my girlfriend was brought up in. On the walls were poster after poster, the shelves held a few picture frames and some trophies. There was a small bookcase with what could've been imagined as a million books, and the last shelf held a few DVDs, some albums and some vinyls.
Watching as April ran between us, she threw herself onto the bed rolled around.
"This bed is hugeeeee" she said in awe of the queen size bed.
Smiling at her, I decide to join her party and plop myself down next to her. Falling in to a fit of giggles, April rolls over onto her side and made a wide attempt to hug me.
Kissing her small hands, I look above us to see my lover staring at us with amuse.
"What's so funny?" I questioned, folding my arms.
"You two are.......the best thing that's ever happened to me"
Seeing that she was clearly on the brink of tears, I sat forward and hugged her.
"Don't go soft on me Hamilton"
Smiling at my words, she pulled me up and gave me a kiss.
"I am very tired" she mumbled into my shoulder.
"Yep. Jetlag is a bitch" I pulled back, pushing my hair out my face.
"I say we sleep. April what do you think?"
We looked over on the bed, to see our conversation was one sided, as our beloved four year old was already ahead of us, knocked out in the middle of the bed.
Laughing at her, Sierra took off her jacket, and threw it on the beanbag chair.
We changed our clothes into something more comfortable, and got into the bed on either side of April.

When I got up, both Sierra and April we already gone from the bed. Rolling onto my back, a wide picture frame caught the corner of my eye.
It held a young Sierra and a large group of people. They were in a school uniform, gathered on the stage of an auditorium.
"Maraval Primary, graduating class of 2005"
A familiar figure stood at the door, her hands in her pockets, and a smile wide on her face.
Now dressed in a vest and short pants, that went down to just above her knee, she kicked off the doorframe and came to me. Closing the door behind her, she got in next to me.
"You've been asleep for 3 hours, I almost thought you were at eternal rest" she chuckled, cupping my cheek.
Bringing my lips to hers, I lay a gentle kiss on them, as I rub my nose on hers.
"Are you hungry?" she hummed, leaning forward and kissing my neck.
"Not like there's much else to do" I said between breaths, as she lightly sucked at my neck. Against my better judgment, I pushed her away.
"I am not fucking you in your parents' house."
"If you insist" she groaned, lifting the sheets off of us and pulling me up with her.
Following her downstairs, I find everyone seated at a dining room table. Or most of them.
Seated was, Sarai, Alex, Hayden and Kiana. Sierra lead me to the kitchen, where April was with Deon. They were sitting on the barstools, watching something on the counter, Sariah looking over them.
"Hi Momma" April greeted, waving over at me.
While Sierra got me something to eat, I went to her side and kissed her cheek.
"What are you doing baby?" I asked, ruffling her short hair.
"Deon's trying to explain why Tyler is better than Kendall" she pouted, pointing at the screen of Deon's tablet.
They we were watching Power Rangers: Dino Fury.
Smiling at the pair's debate, I felt a set of eyes on me. Looking around the room, I see Sariah on the other side of the counters. Feeling shy under her gaze, I turned away when I felt a hand to my lower back.
"This is yours" Sierra smiled, handing me a plate of food.
It was rice with peas and chicken, just.....very brown. And there was potato salad at the side.
"What you don't eat I wouldn't mind taking for myself" she hummed.
Laughing at her silliness, I take the plate from her and go with her to the dining table. Sitting between Hayden and Sarai, I stayed quiet, observing the current conversation.
"Kristen...right?" I heard from beside me.
Looking to my side, I see Sarai watching me with questioning eyes. Nodding yes to her question, I see a smile cross her face.
"I'm Sarai, and I don't bite. I promise" she laughed, extending her hand to me.
Taking her hand and shaking it, I laugh at her little joke.
"You don't need to look so scared, you make Sierra happy, and so you're welcome here. If I don't bite no one will" she said, noticing my expressions.
"I know, I know, but I'll be the new kid for now" I responded, putting a spoonful of food in my mouth.
Laughing at bit, we carry on our little own conversation, until Alex steals her for a minute. Taking the opportunity, to go place my dish in the sink, I head back to the kitchen, where I find two sleeping toddlers.
Smiling as I placed the plate down, I took April in my arms, and called Kiana for Deon. Taking her upstairs, I lay her on the bed, and change her into her pjs. While I'm tucking her in, the door cracks open behind me.
"I thought you headed for the hills while you still could" Sierra exaggerated, plopping down on the beanbag chair.
Laughing at my childish girlfriend, I sit on her lap, and wrapped my hands around her neck.
"You can't get rid of me that easily" I whispered in her ear.
Kissing my neck, she takes my hand in hers and interlocks our fingers. Running the fingers of my free hand through her hair. I tug on it, bringing her away from my neck. Looking at me with dark eyes, she goes to her feet, me still in her arms.
Bringing her lips to meet mine, she takes me into the joint bathroom, and locks the door behind her.
