Kristen POV:

I sat at the edge of Sierra and I's bed. I'd just finished my makeup, and was now waiting on Sierra.

Sitting there, scrolling through any kind of social media I could find, my love paced out of our closet and walked past me with a mission, leaving behind the scent of her cologne in her wake.

I looked over at her, watching as she rummaged through our makeup drawer, silently mumbling to herself.

"Baby" I said, as I stood from the bed, going to her side.

"My love" she responded, not stopping her actions.

"What are you looking for?" I asked, amused.

"Foundation, concealer, blush, something else..." her words drifted off as she got lost in thought again.

"Sweetheart" I whispered in her ear, kissing right beneath it. "Relax."

Tonight was our dinner with April and her new girlfriend. From the moment Sierra heard the word 'girlfriend' she's been sick ever since. Even though April is 17, Sierra can't help herself. Getting her to go to the dinner itself was a battle.

"Sit down, I'll do your makeup" I pleaded.

She looked at me stiffly, before calming and sitting at the vanity. I looked through the now disorganised drawer and took out her products, ready to give her a simple look.

She sat quietly, as I did her makeup. I carefully applied everything, taking my time with each stroke.

When I was finished, I admired my work. Light foundation and blush, tipped off with some soft eyeliner and some cute wings.

Since Sierra started embracing her femininity a bit more these past few years, I can't ever get enough of her in makeup. I'm so addiced to this woman.

"Thank you baby" she said quietly, looking at me through the mirror.

I placed a gentle kiss on top her head, smiling back at her.

"Everything will be okay. I'm sure Jay treats her well. We taught her what to accept, you showed her how she should be treated, and treat her love, through all those years she's watched you. I'm sure she's accepting nothing less. Stop worrying" I reassured her, taking her hands in mine for better measure.

She kissed my knuckles softly, and smiled up at me.

"I guess I am pretty great" she said cockily, shruggng her shoulders.

I giggled and kissed her forehead one more time.

"Come on my perfect baby" I said, as I pulled her up to her feet.

With that, we put on our shoes, grabbed our purses and met Aidan and Anna downstairs.

They'd both been dressed before us, so as to avoid any hustling.

"You look pretty Mom" Aidan said, smiling brightly at Sierra.

"Thanks honey" she responded softly, smoothing over his hair with her hands.

Taking his hand in hers, they stood ready in her suits, everything perfect to a T.

Then, we headed out the door, and down to the car. We buckled in, and began the drive to Keruse's.
