Sierra POV:

As we pulled into the familiar driveway, I felt my heart begin to pound. My mind began to think of what the outcome of my return could be. I'd been in contact with my siblings since I left, but Shane refused to speak a word to me. And my parents, tried to talk to me, but I was so mad I refused them every time. They even came to see me more than once, and I just ignored them. I haven't seen my eldest brother, in 14 years, and I haven't seen my parents in 8. It all just felt like a fever dream.

What if they didn't want to see me? What if they hadn't changed? What if they hated me? Do they even love me?

A soft hand cups my cheek, causing me to blink away my thoughts rapidly.

"You ready for this?" Kris asked, rubbing my cheek with her thumb.

Taking her wrist in my hand, I give it a gentle squeeze, before nodding 'yes'.

Serving me a soft smile, she gives me a soft kiss, before we get out of the car. With Sky at the front, he knocks on the door. Being opened by my dad, I stand frozen, not knowing what to do.
My mom joined him a few seconds after, and they started sharing hugs with Skyler and his family, as well as Sarai.

With the twins now inside, it left Sade, Hayden, Kris, April and myself stood in front of the car still.

Their faces dropping a bit at the sight of their strayed daughters, my parents slowly walk down the steps and approach us. My dad stopped midway, and my mom continued, coming right up to face us.

She went to Sade first, and cupped her cheek.

"I've missed my baby" she laughed, bringing her in for a tight hug.

Over Sade's shoulder, she saw me and immediately let go. Taking it as a sign to leave, she and Hayden took their things, and went inside, but not before greeting my dad.

"You're.......you're here" my mom mumbled, standing in front of me. "You're back......"

Still confused as to what I'm supposed to do, I stand there frozen.

"Can I hug you.....?" she said to me, her eyes displaying a fault of plea.

Clenching my jaw a bit, I look into her eyes and see her tear ducts filling. Slowly nodding 'yes' I feel her lunge forward and engulf me in her arms.

"You're so tall" she chuckled, pulling back and looking at me. "You've grown beautifully."

Her hands taking my face, I bring my hands to hold her wrists.

"I'm so sorry" she sobbed, letting her tears fall. "I love you Sierra. I love you, I love you, I love you. I'm so sorry. You don't have to forgive me, but I'm sorry."

At the sound of her words, I felt as though I'd been set free from a prison sentence. Like I was the wall of a dam, and I'd finally been given release. I felt.......free.

Refusing to hold back anymore tears, I let them have their reign, as I look over to my father.
He stood still, his mouth agape, at the sight of me. He didn't say a word, he just turned to look at Kris and Apes, and then back at me. Letting out a loud sigh, he ignored us and went back inside.

"I'll talk to him" I heard, looking back at my mom.

"She's stunning" she whispered to me, directing her eyes at Kris.

Feeling a blush come on, I let a smile take over, and hug her again.

"I love you too" I breathed out, trying not to cry anymore.

Just then, my nose was invaded, by the scent of cheap Pennywise perfume. Still with all the money she has, this woman refused to buy herself any lavish things.

"My favourite grandbaby!" she yelled, from the porch. "Sariah, stop suffocating my grandchild and let her come here."

Laughing at my grandma's words, my mom let me go, allowing me to run up to the front. Giving her a big hug, I squeeze her tightly and kiss her cheek.

"I missed your dumbass, you know that?" she asked, giving me a pat on the cheek. "Ooh la la, is this the infamous Kristen?" she swooned, letting me free.

Turning to see both Kris and my mom behind us, I take Kris' bags, much to her dismay.

"Thank you for making my Sierra so happy" grandma said, walking down the steps to give Kris a hug. "And this little miss" she began, kneeling down to April's height. "Is April the troublemaker. Am I right?"

"Hey!" April complained, folding her arms. "I am NOT a troublemaker!"

"My bad" the cheeky old woman apologized. "That's just what Sierra told me."

Turning to look up at me, she sized me up and huffed.

"I'm never watching Lion King with you again. You don't deserve to be in my presence" she said, making an angry face and hiding behind Kristen.

Chuckling at her little outburst, we all begin head inside. Just as I make it to the door, I feel a hand pull me back.

"Hi" Kris said, interlocking out fingers.

"Hi" I responded, giving her hand a squeeze.

"I told you it wouldn't be bad" she hummed, resting her chin on my shoulder.

"You were right" I confirmed, giving her a small kiss. "Now to tame the beast. I've always dreamed of walking through this door with my girlfriend."

Smiling at me, she lightly cupped me cheek and gave me a soft kiss.

"Let's go" she says, taking us through the door.
