"Do not ignore me!" Aphmau yells, launching herself again.

Without hesitation, he turns around and sends Aphmau flying back, so hard, she hits the wall. She falls to the ground. Garroth and Katelyn run to her aid, but I stand my ground, starring at Shad.

"Now you've done it." I mutter, snapping my fingers. My staff appears in my hand and I grab a random dagger.

"You should have stayed in your realm. Now I will bring everything to one! I will merge all the realms. Compared to me, now you are weak. Without me to challenge you... When I become whole, I will take everything from you. Just like you did to me." Shad explains.

He's ticked me off way too much to let him go without a fight. "Shad."

"Hm... Ah, I remember you. Irene's little pet."

"Tsk."

"Menphia. Now, now. Don't be so upset to see me... After all, you're my sister."

"No." I state firmly, gripping my dagger and staff. "I don't have a brother. Not anymore. He's gone... And I'm not going to let you disrespect my brother or my friends."

"I see... You are just like her. No care or regard for youself... Simply worrying about others."

"I'm going to talk with you! OF ALL PEOPLE! About my view of the world, when you think people like Zenix, and ZANE deserve a second chance." I grit my teeth. I raise my staff slightly and I teleport once, about a meter off the ground, behind Shad, who's facing Aphmau still.

Noticing me, he dodges, tumbling to the ground, using it to pick up the sword he threw.

"Hm..." He mutters, completely unfazed by my attacks.

I teleport once more, on top of him, landing on his shoulders. My kick knocks him down a bit, but, he grabs my left foot and proceeds to throw my body to the ground. It's going to be extremely painful... Especially if I land on my back. Inches away from the ground below, I teleport once more. This time, I'm on the stairs, a few feet away from Shad. He simply stares at me, not trying to attack. The world starts spinning and then goes blank for a brief moment. I shake it off and stand my ground, still in a little pain from landing on the quarts. I thought the pain would have subsided by now...

I smirk, "What? Are you a coward?"

"Hm... It really is you."

"What...?" I ask, not knowing what he's talking about, but the something hits me, "Oh..."

"I was joking at first. I just thought it was funny that another like her decided to adventure with Irene as her 'pet'." He explains, "But now I realise, you are her. Aren't you?"

"Menphia is gone. Just like Irene." I state.

"Please. You're exactly like her... Trust me... You were my closest friend." He smirks, but I don't quite hear what he says next.

The world begins to face black as an incredible agonising pain shoots down my spine. I yelp in pain. Praying for it to end, but before it does, my body hits the ground.

In a desperate attempt to remember what happened, I jolt up. My mind is racing, the world is spinning and I can't focus on anything... Not even the... Dream. My chest begins violently pounding from the speed at which my heart is racing. It feels like my chest is about to explode, and it doesn't help that I can barely breathe properly. It's like I just woke up from the worst nightmare I've ever experienced... And I don't remember anything...

A distorted voice begins calling out to me, after having only just entered the room. It takes a few moments but it soon registers. Aphmau.

"Anna! Everything is okay! You're fine!" She exclaims, trying to comfort me. "I'm so glad you're awake! I thought we lost you! How are you feeling!?" She asks, sitting on the bed near my feet, gripping on to my hand as if it was the only thing keeping her from falling off a cliff.
