We're all standing on the boat together. While waiting for Katelyn to return from below deck, Travis, Aphmau, and I begin talking.
"Wow... You're looking like fire, Anna." Travis whistles.
"I see you took pieces from both choices." Aphmau smiles.
"I hate armour... But I need it more than ever now..." I say, muttering the second part.
"Why do you hate armour?" Travis asks, raising and eyebrow.
"It drags you down. Makes it harder to move... And it just reminds me of the jury... We were forced to wear the same armour. Only difference between each set was the colour accents."
"What was your colour?" Travis asks, bluntly.
It takes me a moment, but I reply, "Orange."
Katelyn, after finally finding the item she was looking for, joined us, immediately putting a halt to our prior conversation.
"Here you go. Thanks for letting me hold on to it for so long." Katelyn smiles, handing a small gold chained pearl necklace to Travis.
"As long as it wasn't going to waste." Travis remarks.
"So, why do we need this pearl necklace anyway?" Aphmau asks.
Travis, with a small look of sorrow, begins explaining it's relevance, "It used to belong to my mother. She fought with the Demon Warlock most of her life. She used this necklace to protect those she loved. It's one of the last things I have from her. If we're going to fight him again... We're going to want all the help we can get."
Without realising, another presence enters the vicinity.
"Travis, I know you've been through so much... But I just want to let you know that Anna, Katelyn, and I are so thankful for all you've done for us." Aphmau replies, "Right guys?"
"What was that?" Katelyn questions.
"Katelyn!"
"No, I'm serious. Did no one else hear it?" Katelyn queries.
"Hear what?" Travis asks.
"I thought I heard something on the other side of the ship." Katelyn mutters.
"It was probably just the wind or somet-"
"Sh shh shhhh... Travis..." Aphmau shush him.
"See. I told you it's just the wi..."
Someone is making noise over near the crates on the other side of the ship.
"There!" Katelyn states, pointing them out.
"There's a new aura..." I add.
"Keep low." Aphmau announces, making her way over.
Travis, Katelyn and I follow close behind.
I try to analyse the aura and become confused. It's familar... Strong, yet not controlled.
I gasp, muttering, "No..."
"Alina!?" Aphmau yells, finding her youngest daughter. A stow away.
"Momma!" Alina jumps, happy she was found.
"Alina, my sweetheart! What are you doing here? How did you get here?"
"I was sneaky!" Alina announces.
"Weren't Garroth and Liochant looking after you, Lilith, and Erin?"
Alina giggles.
"So, you snuck aboard, eh?" Aph asks.
