2024, Maryland.

Sam and Bucky walked down the street on the way to wherever location Bucky was leading the duo to. As they walked, two kids perked up.

"Hey, it's Black Falcon!" One of them exclaimed. "What's up?"

"It's just Falcon, kid." Sam corrected him.

"No, no. My daddy told me it's Black Falcon."

Sam stopped and looked down at the child, who looked to be around 10 years old.

"It's it because I'm black and I'm the Falcon?" He asked.

"Well... technically... I mean... yes." The kid hesitantly replied.

"So are you, like, Black Kid?" Sam then jokingly questioned.

The kid looked away and seemed to roll his eyes. Sam chuckled and tapped the older kid in the shoulder, before continuing his way down the sidewalk to catch up to Bucky. Sam and Bucky climbed up some stairs as they approached a townhouse. Sam looked around, seeming a bit hesitant, and Bucky banged on the metallic door blocking the actual door. A few seconds later, a teenage kid opened the door.

"We're here to see Isaiah." Bucky told him.

"Nobody named Isaiah live here." The teen replied.

Bucky sighed, then looked back at the kid behind the door.

"Look, we just want to talk to him." He said.

"You must not hear what I just said." The teenager spoke up, rather annoyed. "You ain't getting in this house. Y'all can leave now."

"Tell him the guy from the bar in Goyang is here." Bucky told him. "He's gonna know what that means."

The teenager stayed a bit quiet, then stepped slightly away from the door.

"Alright. Wait here." He said.

He then shut the door, leaving Sam and Bucky still standing on the porch.

"Nice kid. How do you know this guy?" Sam asked.

"I used to." Bucky answered, his voice barely above a mutter. "We had a skirmish during the Korean War."

Before Bucky could explain any further, the door opened again.

"Today's your lucky day." The teen stated as he opened the metallic door as well, letting the men inside. "He said he wanna see for himself."

Sam and Bucky entered the house and walked towards the older man standing further into the home.

"Isaiah?"

"Look at you." Isaiah remarked.

"This is uh, Sam." Bucky said, gesturing to his companion. "Sam, this is Isaiah. He was a hero. One of the ones that HYDRA feared the most. Like Steve. We met in '51."

"If by met, you mean I whupped your ass, then yeah. We heard whispers he was on the peninsula, but everyone they sent after home never came back." Isaiah spoke up. "So the US military dropped me behind the line to go deal with him. I took half that metal arm in that fight in Goyang, but I see he's managed to grow it back."

Isaiah gestures towards Bucky's new vibranium arm that he received from the Wakandans.

"I just wanted to see if he got the arm back. Or if he'd come to kill me."

"I'm not a killer anymore." Bucky whispered to him, while shaking his head.

"You think you can wake up one day and decide who you wanna be?" Isaiah questioned. "It doesn't work like that. Well, maybe it does for folks like you."
