Sam, Zemo, Clover and Maria entered the fancy house, looking around at everything. While Zemo went and showered, Sam and Clover sat at the bar in the corner and Maria sat on the couch. Bucky returned soon after.
"Well, the Wakandans are here. They want Zemo." He said. "Bought us some more time."
"Were you followed?" Sam asked.
"No." Bucky simply answered.
"How can you be so sure?" Zemo asked.
"'Cause I know then I'm being followed." Bucky told him.
"It was sweet of you to defend me at least." Zemo remarked.
"Hey, you shut it. No one's defending you." Sam muttered. "You killed Nagel."
"Do we really have to litigate what may or may not have happened?" Zemo asked.
"There's nothing to litigate. You straight shot the man." Clover spoke up.
"Sam. Clover." Bucky said.
"What?" The two of them questioned.
"Karli bombed a GRC supply depot." Bucky read from his phone.
"What?" Clover asked.
"Holy shit..." Maria muttered quietly, standing from the couch and approaching the group.
"What's the damage?" Sam asked.
"11 injured, 3 dead. They have a list of demands and are promising more attacks if those demands aren't met." Bucky continued reading.
"This girl sounds like she's getting really out of control..." Maria remarked.
Sam and Clover turned to Maria then sighed.
"The girl is right. She's getting worse." Zemo agreed. "I have the will to complete this mission. Do the 4 of you?"
"She's just a kid." Sam stated.
"You're seeing something in her that isn't there. You're clouded by it. She's a supremacist." Zemo went on. "The very concept of a super soldier will always trouble people. It's that warped aspiration that led to Nazis, to Ultron, to the Avengers."
"Those are our friends you're talking about." Sam muttered, annoyed.
"The Avengers, not the Nazis." Bucky added.
"So, Karli is radicalized, but there has to be a peaceful way to stop her." Clover said.
"The desire to become a superhuman cannot be separated from supremacist ideals. Anyone with that serum is inherently on that path." Zemo explained. "She will not stop. She will escalate until you kill her. Or she kills you."
"Maybe you're wrong, Zemo." Bucky spoke up. "The serum never corrupted Steve."
"Touché." Zemo shrugged. "But there has never been another Steve Rogers, has there?"
Zemo walked away and into the bar and Bucky rolled his eyes.
"Well, maybe we should give him to the Wakandans right now." He said.
"And you'll give up your tour guide?" Zemo questioned.
"Yes." Bucky sighed as he sat on the couch.
"From my understanding, Donya is like a pillar of the community, right?" Sam asked. "So when I was a kid, my TT passed away."
"Your... your TT?" Bucky questioned.
"Yeah, my TT, yeah." Sam said.
"Who is your TT?" Bucky asked.
