Five Days Later-
I was driving home from school when my phone began to ring. I pulled over on the side of the road and answered it quickly.
“Hello?” I said trying to sound the happiest I could be.
“Rowan, baby I need to see you.” I heard his voice say to me.
Tears formed in my eyes and I nodded even though he couldn’t see me.
“I’ll be there in twenty.”

I wrapped my arms around Jaxon’s neck as he hugged me tightly.
“How are you Ro?” He asked pulling away just far enough to see my face.
“To be honest, better than I have been in a couple days Jaxon.” I said resting my head on his chest.
We stayed silent for a moment. All I could hear was the beating of his heart.
“I love you Rowan.” He said into my ear.
Tears ran down my face instantly as I tightened around him for support.
“I love you too Jax. I love you so much.”
Before I knew it our lips were together and I was hanging around his waist like a monkey. He walked us back to his bedroom and shut it behind him before sending me to heaven and back.

I woke up with Jaxon’s arms tightly around me. I turned to meet his eyes and perfect lips.
“Morning.” I said scooting closer to him.
“Morning baby.”
I wanted to back to sleep but the way his hands moved on my bare back kept me awake.
“Jax, Don’t even get me started.” I said laughing into his chest.
“I’m in love with every inch of your perfect body Rowan.” He said kissing my forehead.
Damn him. He was so fucking adorable and sexy at the same time.
“We better get up. What time is it?” I asked looking into his eyes again.
“Um… One-thirty.”
I shot up in bed and looked at him.
“Seriously? Well it’s a good thing it’s Saturday.” I said standing up out of his bed.
“No shit.” He said following me into the kitchen.
It was when I saw the note on the fridge about the competition that I realized it was tomorrow.
“Rowan?” Jaxon said placing his hand on my shoulder.
“I can’t believe its tomorrow.” I said running my fingertips along the sticky note.
I felt Jaxon’s warm lips kiss my neck. If he only knew how much comfort that brought to me.
“Are you worried?” He asked wrapping his arms around me.
I shook my head. I wasn’t worried. I was, however, scared. Scared that he would meet someone better, someone who had their shit together. Someone who wasn’t all fucked up in the head like I was.
“It’s going to be fine Rowan. I’m not going anywhere Baby.” Jax said as if he knew what I was thinking.
“Okay.” I said turning in his embrace.
His lips kissed my forehead and his hands ran up and down my back softly.
“I’ll take you to Sam’s so you can get your things packed. If we win we leave with the band as soon as the show ends so you need to be packed.” Jaxon said stepping back from me.
I only nodded before walking past him to get a cup from the shelf. I filled it with water and drank.
“Let’s go.”
