Thunder and lightning lit up my dark bedroom. After I left Alexei in the hot sun the sky turned into a dark one. The weather matched attitude and I just sat alone in my bedroom under the covers watching my room light up every once in a while.
I got up around six and got some food and then came back to my bedroom. While I was eating I heard something hit my window. Getting up from my bed I made my way to my window and saw him outside. What the hell? I opened the window swiftly and was blasted with cold.
“What the hell are you doing?” I yelled over the rain.
“Come down here and talk to me!” Alexei yelled back to me.
I rolled my eyes, put my window back down and pulled on some shoes and a sweater before walking down the hall, going through the kitchen and then out the door.
“Shit its cold.” I said to myself.
Alexei was holding the umbrella over his body.
“What do you want Alexei?” I asked him.
He held out the umbrella for me and I stood under it gratefully.
“We need to talk about what happened earlier today.” He said to me.
“Can’t we do this tomorrow?” I asked him annoyed.
“No Rowan, we can’t.” He said back to me in a matter-of-factly way.
I pulled the sweater around my middle trying to get warm but I just couldn’t.
“If I get sick because of this conversation I’m blaming you.” I said to him seriously.
“Fine with me.” He said back to me matching my tone.
We walked underneath the roof trying to stay warm and dry but it wasn’t really working.
“Well?” I asked him.
He laughed and gave me a smile I had never seen before.
“What?” I asked him again confused.
“The way you said that reminded me of the way you first talked to me, that’s all.” He said back to me scratching his neck.
I rolled my eyes at him. “Is this what you wanted to talk about? If it is then I’m going back inside.”
His eyes grew and he grabbed my arm so I couldn’t escape.
