Hey! So I'm sorry that this chapter is so short. I liked how it ened though so that's why it's the length it is. I hope you like it though. See yeah!

Two weeks had gone by. Two very boring, very tedious, and very tiresome weeks. We had a three day weekend because of a teacher prepare day and next week was Halloween so hopefully life would get exciting soon.
I got onto the bus after school the same way I did every day. I hadn’t thought about Alexei a lot except when I was on the bus. I hadn’t seen him once since that first morning we even met and although I was fine with that to a degree I also wasn’t. The bus started to pull away when I saw Alexei rushing to get Lucy’s attention.
“Lucy! Wait!” I said loud enough so she could hear.
She pulled to a harsh stop and saw Alexei jog up next to the bus. She opened the door for him and sighed.
“Mr. Evans, please try and get here earlier.” Lucy said to him.
Evans? That was his last name?
“Yes ma’am.” He said to Lucy.
I scooted over some making room for him but instead he walked right past me. What the fuck? I looked back and I saw him sitting with Rose. No wonder I hadn’t seen him anywhere. He’s probably gotten with her by now. I turned back around and put my ear phones in. I hate guys.

I woke up the next morning and looked at the clock. Twelve already? Crap! I jumped out of bed and put on a Black Veil Brides tee and put on my overalls. I left my blond messy hair down and didn’t even put on any mascara or lip balm before running out of the house.
I’ve been speaking away from my house every Saturday to see my mom. I found out where she lived when I was thirteen and have been seeing her every Saturday since then. She thinks dad is fine with it (he isn’t), so it makes it kind of hard to do so.
I’d usually walk to where she lived because it was only about half an hour away if you walked and I’d get there around twelve thirty but today I ran just to make it to her house. I got there around twelve forty-five and breathed heavily at her door step.
I knocked on her door once I got my breath back and not a half a minute went by before she opened it smiling.
“Rowan, come in.” She said stepping aside for me.
I saw a man sitting on the couch in a nice shirt and tie with dressy pants and shoes on.
“Who’s this mom?” I said as I started to mess with my hands. Nervous trait.
“This is Reid.” My mother said grabbing my hand and leading me into the living room where Reid sat.
