Rowan's P.O.V.

I woke up to the smell of food being put by my face and I instantly thought it was my mom.

"You're so awesome Mom." I said with my eyes still closed.

I heard a guy's laugh after I said that and I opened my eyes to see Jaxon sitting on the bed next to me with two plates in his hands.

"I would like to accept that compliment but it was addressed to your mom." He said with a smile handing me the plate as I sat up facing him.

"Sorry." I said with a shy smile taking a bite of the toast he made for me.

"So after you're done I'll drive you to your house so you can get ready for school and then I'll take you there. Sound like a plan?" He asked me taking a bite of the eggs.

I was hoping he would take me back to my mom's so I could get a shower and get new clothes because being me I didn't think about having to stay with a guy I had never stayed with before.

"Thanks." I said to him before eating the rest of the plate and washing it.

Just like he said he drove me home and I told him to make himself home while I got into the shower. I left my hair dry in its natural waviness and ran to my room putting on my grey tee, black skinny jeans, black boots, my sweater-vest jacket thing, and a black beaded leather bracelet and put my "Throwing Horns" studs in my ears.

I didn't wear much makeup today just because I was in a hurry but I managed to get mascara on before running into the living room. I saw that Jaxon was just standing up looking at the pictures that my mom had of me on the walls. I walked up to him and saw my favorite. My mom, dad, and I looked like a happy family in that picture and for a while I bet we were.

"I think I look so weird in these." I said to him laughing.

"Nah, you look cute." He said to me with a nice smile.

We looked at a few more pictures before getting out of the house and when Jaxon pulled up to the school we got there just in time.

"Thank you. I will probably need to stay over there for about three more nights and then my mom will be let out of the hospital so I hope you don't mind." I said to him before I got out of the truck.

"No problem Rowan. You can stay as long as you want." He said kissing me on the cheek.

Before I walked away from his truck I waved a goodbye to him and then ran towards the building.

The first moment I saw Alexei I noticed his hand was wrapped up.

"What the hell did you do?" I asked him concerned.

"I tripped and scrapped my knuckles." He said quickly but I knew he was lying.

"Let me see." I said to him crossing my arms over my chest.

He took off the bandages and looked at me. Such a liar.

"Why did you punch your wall or whatever you punched?" I asked him still looking at his hand.
