Running. I’m running. Running for or from something I don’t know but I’m running. Either way it ends horrible as a train crashes into my body flinging me under the hard, cold steal of the weight.

“Rowan!” I heard Jen’s voice say as she shook me awake.

I breathed heavy and hard as my body went into shock.

“Sam!” I heard her yell.

I was frozen and for whatever reason I just could not stop myself from breathing so hard. I heard Sam enter the room in a hurry and I turned my head so just enough to make eye contact.

“I need an ambulance, please!” Sam said into his phone.

“My God…” I heard Jen say before I felt my eyes roll back into my head and everything went black.

Jaxon’s P.O.V.

“Give me all of your money.” The behemoth yelled at me.

“Look I will just put down your gun.” I said making eye contact with him.

He laughed and looked at me with an evil smile. He walked a few steps before grabbing a middle aged women and gripped a fist full of her hair making her cry out in pain as he also put the head of his gun to her temple.

“Give me all of your money.” He said with greeted teeth.

“Okay, okay just let her go.” I said looking at him.

“Now! Give it to me now!” He yelled holding the lady tighter.

I quickly opened the cash register and took out all the money holding it out with one hand. They guy smiled again and basically threw this women across the floor. He grabbed it, emptied it into his black duffle bag and then looked at me.

“Thanks for the cooperation.” He said before zipping the bag and running out of the store.

I’m pretty sure I heard everyone in the store sigh in relief but I was not one of them.

“Is everyone alright?” I asked out loud.

The guy hadn’t shot anyone or pulled a knife on anyone but that doesn’t change that someone could be put into a shock. Everyone got up and hugged each other tight in their arms but I had no one to hug and I just stood there thinking “What the actual fuck just happened?”
