When I walked back inside I heard all of the guys talking to each other, including Alexei. I didn’t go further into the room because I wanted to know what they were all talking about. It was hushed, what they were all talking about, so it was difficult to hear so I waded in a little closer and stopped before the wall stopped leading into the band room.

“The place we’re playing at is all the way across the States. Rowan might not want to go with me.” I heard Jaxon say to the guys.

“So what?” I heard Alexei say. “She doesn’t have to be with you all the time.”

I cringed when Alexei said that.

“The point is,” I heard Sam say next breaking the guy’s bickering. “If we win there, we’ll be on a tour starting the very next day with another band. It’ll be a month long tour.”

The competition is next week and Jaxon hadn’t mentioned this to me? I already knew that the guys would win and I was going to be so happy for them but if I didn’t go with Jaxon for a whole month I won’t see him for a month. And I wouldn’t see Sam again for another month either.

“Dude, Rowan will totally go. You guys are like a moth and a flame, she’s the moth and you’re the flame.” I heard Ben say most likely to Jaxon.

“Look if she wants to go then she’ll go but if she wants to stay she could always stay at-.”

Alexei was interrupted by a mean “no” from Jaxon and that’s when I it started to get intense.

“Why the hell not?” I heard Alexei yell.

“Because I actually trust Jen more than you.” I heard Jaxon say back to Alexei.

“Oh shit…” I heard Dustin say.

Okay I need this to stop. I opened the door and shut it loudly hoping that the guys would hear it and stop whatever they were about to do. Then I walked into the band room and looked around like I was confused as to why everyone was so quiet.

“Hey.” I said making my way slowly over to the fridge getting me a water.

“You look frozen.” I heard Keith say, he then walked over to me, took the water out of my hands and then got a cup, putting the water inside and heating it in the microwave.

I was actually kind of cold but I hadn’t realized it yet until it was pointed out to me. I looked down at my legs and they were covered in goose bumps. The microwave beeped three times and Keith took the cup out and set it on the small table that was right next to the fridge. He then went took out two packets of hot coco powder and put it in the cup stirring it with a plastic spoon.

“There you go, you can thank me with a kiss.” He said handing me the cup before turning his head so I was facing his cheek.
