“Oh my god! It looks so good!” Rowan said looking down at our tattoos next to each other.
“I know. They look beautiful.” I said looking at her with a smile.
After the worker wrapped our arms up, I paid for the tattoos and then we made our way to my truck.
“Do you know if they have another drive in movie?” Rowan asked me holding onto my hand.
“I don’t but we could look into it.” I said giving her hand a slight squeeze.
This was what I wanted. Her and I, together. But you couldn’t always get what you wanted. I wanted her to be happy. That’s what I really wanted but I’m selfish and so I wanted her. I wanted to be with her.
“What are you thinking about?” Rowan asked me with a smile.
“Nothing. Just… thinking.” I said and then mentally face palmed my forehead.
She shook her head and looked out the truck window.
“You can talk to me Jaxon.” She said letting her shoulders fall as she leading back into the seat.
“I know. Thank you.” I said looking at her for a moment before looking back at the road.

Although there wasn’t a drive in movie tonight we decided to head back to the apartment and hang out there for a while.
“What shall we watch?” I asked her.
“Something.” She said with a smirk.
I sat down on the couch and put the TV on Netflix. Rowan walked over to me and sat down next to me. The scent of vanilla and strawberries filled my nose as she rested her head on my shoulder making the hairs on my arms stand up for whatever reason.
“You okay?” She said lacing her fingers though mine.
“Yeah I’m alright.” I said with a smile.
She returned the smile and then grabbed the remote from my lap and started going through the “Popular on Netflix” row. She stopped at the movie Pocahontas and looked at me with pleading eyes.
“Do you wanna watch Pocahontas Rowan?” I asked with a laugh.
“Can we?” She said putting her hands together.
I wrapped my arm around her and sat her on my lap.
