Chapter 6: Adventures With Ace

I don't know how I've never noticed the stretch marks up until now. Maybe I did but I refused to acknowledge them. Am I delusional? Damn. I zoned out again. What time is it anyway? It's already noon. When are Ace and Luffy gonna wake up? Even Law's awake already, and he got home late. I sat in the living room watching tv with all the pets and Sabo as we waited impatiently for them to wake up.

"If they don't wake up soon, do you want to go without them?" Sabo asked as I pet Oden who was sleeping on my lap.

"Sounds good to me."

"I am really sorry about them. They can be a lot."

"It's not a problem." I say letting out a giggle. "Annoying people don't bother me at all, I mean look at who I have as a father." We both start laughing.

After waiting for about 15 minutes Ace finally came downstairs, carrying Luffy over his shoulder, like a wet towel.

"Sorry for making you guys wait. Have you been up long?" Ace asked.

"Yes. Is Luffy even awake?" Sabo snapped.

"Kind of. I'm gonna go to the kitchen and get him some meat real quick. That will definitely wake him up" Ace said heading to the kitchen leaving Sabo and me alone again.

After a few minutes, yelling and cheering could be heard from the kitchen. Luffy cheering for meat and Ace yelling at him to calm down. All of a sudden the noise stopped and Luffy ran into the living room, with his finger up his nose.

"What are you guys waiting for? Aren't we gonna ride the 4-wheelers?" He asked.

"What do you think we were doing out here? We've been waiting for you guys!" Sabo and I yelled in unison.

"I thought you guys were out here kissing or something." He said nonchalantly. Sabo stood up and looked like his head was about to explode. Ace suddenly came into the room and punched Luffy over the head.

"What is wrong with you Luffy?" Ace asked. He seemed pissed at Luffy insinuating we were doing something together, more than Luffy saying something stupid.

"I have a girlfriend Luffy!" Sabo joined in.

'Oh, yea. Sorry guys." Luffy said, flicking his finger. Did he just flick a booger across the room? I'm making myself nauseous just thinking about it.

Luffy ran to the front door and grabbed his sandals before running outside, leaving the door wide open. Well time to go then. I removed Oden from my lap and went to put on my shoes, following Luffy outside. Luffy was standing in the driveway looking around puzzled.

"You good?" I ask him. I could hear the door close behind me and heard many different footsteps. The dogs must be outside as well.

"Where are they?"

"In the garage." I reply as I head over to the garage door. When I enter, I immediately open the big doors, and Luffy comes running inside.

"Woah. These are awesome." He says jumping onto one of them.

"That one's mine. You and Sabo will be taking Laws. We don't have helmets so you're gonna have to be careful."

I had a red 4-wheeler and Law had a yellow one. Shanks didn't have one, but when he wanted a ride he would either take mine or ride with one of us. My 4-wheeler is a lot more damaged than Laws. I took mine out more and was a lot less careful with it. I can't say how many times I flew off or went sideways.

I grabbed the keys hanging on the wall and handed a pair to Sabo before I unplugged them. I instantly heard Sabo turn his 4-wheeler on and Luffy shout in excitement.
