What happened last night? I feel like I'm lying on something hard. Is it snoring? I quickly remembered what happened and opened my eyes to see Ace sound asleep under me.

A wave of guilt floods over me as I recall what happened last night. I was awful to him. But he still comforted me. I realized I was still lying on top of him and quickly got off of my bed. What time is it anyway? My phone was sitting unplugged on my desk, so I picked it up to check the time.

It's only 6:39. What day is it anyway? Damn, it's Wednesday. My alarm will go off at 7:00 for class. I might as well just get ready now. I gathered my clothes for the day and opened my door, happy to see the bathroom was empty.

I ran across the hall and quickly closed the door. I took my time to get ready, taking a long hot shower followed by brushing my teeth and putting on lotion. Before I got dressed I judged my body in the mirror, like always.

He says he likes me for me. That has to be a lie. Look at me. Who would like that?

When I was all done, I went back to my room to get my backpack. I stood in the doorway and watched Ace for a few seconds, embarrassment taking over the guilt I felt earlier.

I eventually closed the door and walked downstairs. There's still a while until I drive Luffy and me to school. I should have a good breakfast for once.

Law was sitting in the kitchen when I got there and he was looking over Oden's paperwork.

"You mind telling me what the hell happened?" He asked. I dug through the cupboards looking for a quick breakfast to make.

"He looked sick out of nowhere so I took him to the vet with Ace. He had a kidney disease and it was too late to save him." I told him trying to hold back my shaky voice.

After digging around for a while, I came across some granola bars and grabbed a couple to eat. Walking to the fridge, I opened the door and grabbed a water bottle before sitting across from Law.

"Hmm. Where is Ace-ya?" Does he know that Ace is in my room? He's onto us, isn't he? Damn.

"I don't know. Asleep in his room is my best guess." I lied.

"His door is wide open and he's not in there. We all looked for him last night." I took a sip of my water. He really is onto me. I'm a bad liar too. He's too smart. He'll see right through me. I'll keep trying though.

"Law I really don't know. maybe he went out into the woods after we got home and got eaten by a bear."

"I don't remember you being a snorer, but when we were looking for him last night, guess what I heard from your room?" I took a deep breath before taking another sip of water.

"Get to the point, Law."

"What did you guys do yesterday? Besides, bringing Oden to the vet."

"Nothing. What is wrong with you?"

"I noticed you and Ace-ya have gotten close and you two had the house to yourselves yesterday. When we came home your room was locked and he was nowhere to be found. What else should I think? I hope you were at least smart enough to use protection."

"Oh my god Law. We didn't do anything like that. He just comforted me after what happened with Oden and we ended up falling asleep. That's all."

I hate that he's so smart. He probably doesn't even believe me. I mean, I didn't exactly tell the whole truth. Law stood up, grabbed his coffee mug, and started walking in the direction of the living room.

"Whatever you say (y/n). Just be careful with him."

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" I snapped. Oh shit. That came out wrong. Law stopped and turned to face me.
