Laws POV:

What the fuck is he doing here? I just got home from a vacation I was blackmailed to go on, and now I have to deal with Eustass-ya's bullshit. What did I do to deserve this? Can't I have a break, please?

Since I was the one who was driving, I just parked the car and slammed my head onto the steering wheel, causing the horn to go off.

"I'll tell him to leave." (y/n) said as I heard a door open.

"No. It's fine." I replied and it felt like the world stopped. "I'll talk to him." I raised my head and jumped in fear when I saw Eustass-ya right outside the car door looking into the truck like I just hit his car.

I rolled down the window and stared at him trying to figure out what was going on through his thick skull.

"We need to talk." He said opening up my door.

"Give me a few minutes. We just got back home and we need to carry our shit inside." I replied getting out of the truck. All the doors opened and everyone else filed out of the truck toward the back. (y/n) opened up the cargo bed and everyone grabbed a bag to carry inside.

"We need to talk now." Eustass-ya said harshly. I looked at him with a death glare.

"Either you wait or we don't talk at all. We've been home only a few minutes and I'm already just about done with your shit."

Eustass-ya huffed and walked over to his car, sitting on the hood. He looked away and watched the forest while I helped everyone bring the rest of our stuff inside.

After a few backs and forth trips, all of our stuff was inside and everyone started to unpack their stuff. I waited by the front door staring out at Eustass-ya. I probably would have stayed like that for eternity if it wasn't for that tap on my shoulder.

"You sure you wanna do this?" (y/n) asked.

"No, but if I don't talk to him now, well you know him. He won't give up until he gets what he wants."

"I don't get what you ever saw in him, but I support you no matter what." She said as I looked at her and smiled. I don't know what I see in him either.

"I could say the same about you and Ace-ya."

"Ouch. I heard that." Ace-ya replied, walking over to us and wrapping his arms around (y/n). "I don't know why you guys don't like me. I'm not gonna hurt her."

I know that. I'm not stupid. I figured that out a while ago when I overheard a conversation you were having while on the phone with Whitebeard-ya. From the way you talked about her, it was obvious just how much you care about her. As her brother though, it's my job to be overprotective.

"Maybe you should bring your sword with you, just in case." (y/n) proposed.

"He may be a dumb brute, but he would never lay a hand on me." I replied as I opened the door and made my way to the fiery redhead.

"So what do you wanna talk about? I would like to be unpacking my stuff."

"I'm sorry."

Huh? I don't think I heard him properly. Maybe my hearings going already. Did he just tell me he's sorry?

"I'm sorry about what happened. I was confused about what I was feeling, and why I felt them for you of all people." He paused and refused to look at me. "So I took my frustrations out by arguing with you."

"What are you trying to say, Eustass-ya?" It's not like I was innocent back then either. I picked fights all the time as well.

"Back then there was only one thing I was sure of, and it was that I loved you. If you tell anyone about this Trafalgar, I'll kill you."
