Chapter 11: Answers and More Questions

Work was finally over and now I was sitting in a parking lot with Luffy waiting for Shanks and Ace to be done with work.

What the hell happened? Why would Law do that? I know he has no problem riling people up, but he's not stupid. He was always careful to avoid Kidd.

"What's for dinner tonight (y/n)?" Luffy asked snapping me back to reality.

"I'll just drive us through McDonald's or something."

"YAY." Luffy shouted throwing his hands up and hitting the roof of my car. After a few more minutes of waiting, they finally came out and quickly got in the car. Shanks sat up front with me while Ace and Luffy were in the back. I could feel Ace looking at me, but I was too embarrassed from this morning to look back at him.

We went through the drive-thru and quickly ordered. We ate in the car in the middle of the McDonalds parking lot before driving home, and surprisingly, no one fell asleep.

When we got home, I ran upstairs to the bathroom. If I take a shower I won't have to talk to anyone for a bit. I won't have to face Ace and hear him say he's done with me. Although I am gonna talk to Law when I'm done. Whether he likes it or not.

I locked the bathroom door and turned the water on before getting undressed. Ace has to be lying when he says I'm beautiful. There's no way anyone could like someone who looks like me. He must've made a bet with someone and is going very far to make sure he wins. I don't know anymore. He doesn't seem like that type of person. But I guess you never know.

I had gotten so far into my own thoughts that I wasn't paying attention and got shampoo in my eyes.

"Ow. Fuck that hurts." I said to myself.

One long shower, and a hurt eye later I was finally done. I got out and checked out my body more in-depth in the mirror. Looking at my stomach and its stretch marks. My back and all the rolls. My thighs and the cellulite. My arms and how much they jiggle.

Finally, I left the bathroom and went across the hall to my room to change. I thought Ace would be in there but to my surprise, he wasn't. I did notice his bedroom door was closed so I knew he was in there.

After I got changed I went back to put my towels back in the bathroom. I walked downstairs to Law's room and knocked on the door, but there was no response. He must still be asleep.

"Put your dick away, I'm coming in." I say just in case. When I opened the door the light was off, so I turned it on. Bepo stood up on Law's bed and walked to the edge to greet me. Closing the door, I head over to Bepo and start petting him. "Hi, Bepo. Law wake up."

No response. Well, only one other way to wake him up. I giggle to myself.

I grabbed his pillow from under his head and hit him with it. He instantly woke up and looked at me very offended.

"What's your problem?" He asked, dropping his head back onto his mattress.

"My problem? What was the shit you pulled today?" I grabbed the chair from his desk and sat in it facing him. "I can bring your car in tomorrow and see if he will fix it."

"Don't worry about it (y/n). Nothings wrong with my car." Law sat up in his bed and looked at me. "I just wanted an excuse to see him."

"Huh? But I thought you hated him?"

"I do. I guess I must've just wanted to tell him off one last time."

"Do you still like him?" Oops. I didn't mean to say that. It just slipped out. I went too far. He stood up and walked right past me.
