"WE'RE FINALLY HERE!" Choerry yelled as she ran out the plane.

They landed in South Korea at around 4pm, immediately running out of the plane with wobbly legs after sitting for so long.

We're here now. Where are you and Kai?

We're at Kai's apartment. Do you need the address?

Nah I think I got it

And that's how they all ended up here, on a small couch all cramped together, Soobin being the only one sitting on the floor.

"I told you guys, I can go get you some extra chairs." Kai said as he tried his best to get comfortable.

"And I told you no! I don't trust the fact that there aren't any bombs in there!" Yeonjun said, glaring at Kai.

"Oh my god how many times do I have to tell you that I would never do that?!"

"Maybe because you almost fucking killed me?!"

"NO I DIDN'T!"

"YES YOU DID!"

"LITERALLY BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP!" Taehyun yelled out, causing an awkward silence to fill the room.

"There's clearly more to the story we don't know. Kai will tell us about it when he's ready. Please for the love of god just shut the fuck up!"

Yeonjun slouched back down and sighed. Clearly annoyed by Taehyun's statement but there wasn't much he could do.

"He has a point. We don't know what goes on in Kai's personal life, maybe something happened that lead him to not knowing anything. We can't nag him on forever. Just wait." Soobin said with a reassuring smile towards Yeonjun.

"Fine.." Yeonjun said with a pout.

They all sat in silence, still cramped on the couch, but the problem was that it was very awkward now.

"I-I'm gonna go get food, and no I'm not gonna poison it." Kai said as he sat up and ran as fast as he could to the kitchen.

"See? Now you scared him!"

Kai sat in the kitchen, fidgeting a lot. His intention wasn't even to get anything to eat, he just wanted to get away from that conversation. But he can't come back empty handed, that'll make him seem like a bad person. But would they even trust him with the food given?

What was it that he was doing wrong? He just wanted friends that see him for him. Someone that can look past the fact that he has a personality disorder. Why did his personality disorder seem like his...well...his only personality trait to others?

He started pacing around the kitchen, trying to think of what he should do. Should he bring them snacks? What if they just reject it? But going back empty handed seemed disrespectful. What if he just left? No, he can't leave his own apartment when there's people he barely knew here. Especially Yeonjun. Who knows if he'll go rummaging around the entire place.

Just then, a bat landed on his shoulder. He stopped pacing around and tried his best to make it look like he wasn't just freaking out.

"Yerim what do you want?"

The said girl appeared on his back and playfully glared at him.

"What a rude way to say hello!"

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to check up on you!" She said as she jumped off his back and patted his head, "I saw you freaking out earlier."

"No you didn't."

"Yes I did!"

Hueningkai sighed as he made eye contact with the purple haired girl. She was looking at him with concern and reassurance in her eyes.

"Don't pity me like that.." He said as he looked at the ground

"I'm not pitying you, I'm looking out for a friend."

"A friend that's a fucking monster!"

"I don't give a shit about your personality disorder, Kamal." Choerry said with that concern soon turning into a cold glare.

"I like you for YOU. Kai Kamal Huening. Not...uh...Michael."

"Who's Michael?"

Choerry shrugged and sat on the counter, swinging her legs around as she twirled her hair around.

"Just don't let that old hag get to you. You're not a bad person, and no one should tell you otherwise." She looked up at Kai who was just staring at her, confusion plastered all over his face.

"But what about what I did to my sister, she hasn't even recov-"

"I'm not here for your life story, I'm here for you to hurry your ass up and bring us some snacks, I'm hungry!"

"I thought it was to comfort me?!"

"Why not both? It's called gaslighting." She said as she winked at Kai and ran out the kitchen.

"Wha- HEY! CHOI YERIM!" Kai yelled out as he grabbed a basket of snacks and ran back out into the living room.
