Soobin was holding Yeonjun in his arms as tears spilled down. Blood had gotten all over his clothes, and he was shaking so much. He didn't even get the chance to confess.
"Y-Yeonjun? Yeonjun please don't leave me!" He cried, "Please I love you!"
Soobin cried into the dead body that was held into his arms. He never expected it to turn out like this. Yeonjun committed suicide right in front of him, and now he's starting to think that he's the only one to blame.
Beomgyu stood at the entrance of the alleyway, tears falling down his face. Not only from sadness because of Yeonjun's suicide, but from anger. Soobin. Soobin was the only one to blame. If he wasn't so stupid to kill everyone, everything would've been just fine.
Together forever. It could've happened.
"Everything is your fault." Beomgyu said. Soobin turned his head towards the boy and he just started crying even now.
"I'm sorry.." Soobin said in a shaky voice, "It is my fault."
"YOU'RE ONLY SORRY AFTER YEONJUN DIED." Beomgyu yelled, "WHAT ABOUT TAEHYUN? WHAT ABOUT HUENINGKAI? THEY ALL DIED BECAUSE OF YOU."
Beomgyu got closer and closer to Soobin, and the boy still sat there, holding Yeonjun.
"Yes, I'm also responsible for Taehyun's death. But none of this would've happened if you weren't so fucking selfish!"
Beomgyu then made contact with the gun that was on the ground. The exact gun that Yeonjun had killed himself with. Beomgyu then picked it up, and pointed it at Soobin.
"I'm sick and tired of you and you ruining everything!" Beomgyu said as he put his finger on the trigger.
"THINGS WOULD'VE BEEN BETTER IF YOU JUST NEVER EXISTED." Beomgyu yelled with tears rolling down his face, "YOU'RE NOTHING. IT'S YOU AND IT WAS ALWAYS YOU."
Soobin just nodded and looked up at Beomgyu who was aiming straight for his head, "It's okay. I deserve it."
Beomgyu then pulled the trigger, shooting Soobin directly in the head. The boy fell to the ground, and more blood splattered around the already bloody alleyway. Something about Beomgyu felt different though. Not because he murdered someone for the second time.
His surroundings were completely different.
It wasn't bloody, nor were there two dead bodies in front of him. He was in a place that was all white with purple lighting. Above him was a purple tree and in the middle of the floor was a mirror.
He then heard someone yawn, but saw no one near him. He looked up again, seeing a girl.
"God, took you long enough."
It was the girl with the blue and green cat eyes. She was standing above Beomgyu, right from the ceiling, upside down.
"Usually I would punish you for doing that, but he deserved it." She shrugged then jumped from the ceiling, landing right side up now, and stood in front of Beomgyu.
"Put the gun down now! It's not very great holding a gun at a god." She said and made Beomgyu put his arms down. This entire time, he hasn't said a word. Just mouth agape.
"G-God?" Beomgyu said in a confused tone.
"Since it's just us two, I guess I could tell you. Hard to believe? Yes. But I am indeed the cat god that curses all of you for your punishments!"
"Wha- yes that is very hard to believe!"
Hyunjin nodded and then just shrugged, "I wouldn't believe any either if they just suddenly said they were a god. But that's beside the point! You formed the gun, which means it's time for you to finally time travel! You took so long, I was getting bored."
Beomgyu shook his head and rubbed his eyes. Hyunjin was still there, so he clearly wasn't dreaming,
"H-Hold on. Before we even get into that, if you're the cat god like you say you are, I need some questions answered!"
"DAMMIT JUST WHAT I WAS HOPING TO AVOID."
Beomgyu rolled his eyes, "First off, why are you helping me although it clearly states that LGBT bad."
"That's white men twisting my words."
"Fair enough. Wait why was Soobin cursed then? Besides all his recents events, he never did anything bad before that."
"He killed his parents."
"So he was always fucked up."
Hyunjin shrugged, "Is that it?"
Beomgyu nodded.
"GREAT NOW LET'S GET INTO THIS TIME TRAVELING!"
"WOO!"
Hyunjin clapped her hands in excitement, "God it's been so long since Yerim asked me to do this!"
"How does this work?" Beomgyu seemed excited now. Him murdering Soobin just slipped from his mind, though still deserved.
"So, since you're still a rookie, activating an odd eye will take a fruit! It randomizes and how most people figure it out is by eating random fruits until their odd eyes works."
"Uh huh!" Beomgyu nodded.
"But thanks to your trusty God, you don't have to try random fruits! I already know." Hyunjin winked and handed Beomgyu a bowl of blueberries, "Have at it."
"Blueberries.." Beomgyu smiled at the thought of him in Magic Island as Taehyun handed him a bowl of blueberries. Fun times.
He then ate a few of the blueberries, and his odd eye immediately activated.
"OW OW!" Beomgyu winced in pain from the stinging sensation in his eye, "Wait this leads me to my next question."
"Ask away!"
"I thought odd eyes were curses?"
"Again, white men twisting my words. Though still, only I and HeeJin can hand them out!"
"HeeJin?"
"Yup! More on her later. But odd eyes are still extremely rare to get though! You have to be worthy to get it. Taehyun got his after saving Kamal."
"Saving? Wasn't it the other way around though?"
"Y'know, there were many times in his life that Kai tried killing himself." Hyunjin said, "He was just really good at framing it as an accident and him being clumsy. He almost got hit by a car, almost fell off a ledge, almost poisoned himself, etc. All of which were suicide attempts."
"Oh.." Beomgyu frowned after hearing that.
"Every single time, Taehyun always saved him. After the two started getting closer, Kai didn't feel the need to try killing himself anymore. He saved someone's life without even realizing. That's why he was worthy of the odd eye. For him to activate it, he needed to eat a cherry."
Beomgyu nodded, "How many odd eyes are there? What are their powers?"
"In total, there are only five existing odd eyes. Jungeun, JinSoul, Yerim, Taehyun, and you. Jungeun's power is time manipulation. JinSoul is teleporting. Yerim is dimension traveling. Taehyun was life saving. And then there's you, which is also time manipulation."
"Wah, this is so cool."
"ALRIGHT ENOUGH QUESTIONS! Time traveling! I will be your guide, so if you need help, I'll be there. I'm a god so no need to call, I can just tell. What time period do you wanna go to?" Hyunjin started bouncing from excitement and Beomgyu mimicked her movements.
"When did Soobin and Taehyun start arguing?"
"Around March 30th."
"I wanna go back to February 28th then. It gives me time to stop it."
"Alright! Just hop in that mirror and you'll be on your way!"
Beomgyu then saw the mirror transform into a portal. He looked up at Hyunjin and she nodded at him. He gave her a thumbs up and then jumped in the mirror, making his way back to February 28, 2020.
