Choerry and Kai sat outside the police station together eating donuts. It was silent, but a comfortable silence. It felt nice for Kai and being able to see the girl again. This time with a different hair color.
"You dyed your hair?"
"Huh? Oh yeah. The purple was starting to fade out."
He just nodded and continued eating his donut. He doesn't know why, but he felt..shy? He was never shy around people though, not even new ones. It was all so weird to him.
"I'm sorry about what happened to Taehyun, I know you two were pretty close." Choerry broke the silence and look over at the younger boy, who then had tears filling his eyes.
"I don't think he felt the same way."
"Huh?"
"I don't think he felt for me like I did for him." Kai sniffled and turned away from the girl, hoping she wouldn't see him crying.
"What do you mean?"
"I loved him! But all he ever looked at was Beomgyu, just for him to be murdered by the person he loved. And yet Beomgyu still has the audacity to say that he loves him?!"
"Oh.." Choerry soon went quiet again, and she just started playing with her hair and looked at the ground.
"I want to bring him back.." Kai buried his head in his knees and the tears continued to fall down, no matter how much he tried holding them back.
"Magic Island." said a voice.
"Huh?"
"Magic Island can bring your friend back."
The two looked up at the person that was talking to them, and saw a male standing in front of them. He has bunny like features, short brown hair, and was pretty muscular. Kai looked slightly behind him and saw a girl with long blonde hair standing behind him.
"Sorry for sneaking up on you like that, I'm Jeon Jungkook. This is my little sister He-"
"HEEJIN!" Choerry yelled and threw herself onto the other girl, giving her a tight hug.
"Why hello there."
Kai immediately started wiping his tears, embarrassed about strangers seeing him cry.
"H-Hello." he said with a bit of fear in his voice. He recognized the two people and he felt intimidated. Jungkook was a huge organizer and activist, helping those who were cursed feel welcome and that they were safe. And HeeJin was his little sister, as he said. She was a very popular model and singer. It's safe to say that he felt small compared to the two.
"You're..Kamal right? Your friend Taehyun told me a lot about you!" Jungkook said and reached his hand out to the younger, hoping for a handshake. Kai took his hand and shook it, then looked at the ground.
"He was great friends with my sister, he was kinda like a little brother to me."
Kai nodded, blinking the tears back and looking at the ground. If he made eye contact with anyone he would just break.
"I know how much you want him back. I do too. And it might not be the same as before, but I do know a way to get him back."
"Magic Island.."
"Exactly!"
Kai just stood there still staring at the ground, so many thoughts going through his head. Being Taehyun back? How was that even possible?
"I need to talk to Choerry- wait where did she go?" Kai looked around for the brunette girl, no sight of her anywhere.

"You're asking me for help because you fucked up?" Choerry scoffed and turned around, making eye contact with Beomgyu, glaring into his soul.
"I know I fucked up, and I really do want to fix it!" Beomgyu said, tears threatening to spill from his eyes.
"Really now?! Cause you sure had no intention of fixing it until they started questioning you!"
"I talked with JinSoul a few days ago," he said, "You can ask her yourself."
"What did you talk to her about?"
"You two have odd eyes, and I know there's such thing as a time traveling odd eye. I-I wanted to try going back and fix everything." Beomgyu started fidgeting with his hands and tapping his foot.
He kept looking around with a worried look on his face. He was in a rush and clearly very anxious.
It was like he was being hunted.
"One, I'm not the one you're supposed to be talking to about that. And two, why are you so anxious?" Choerry gave him a questioning look as he flinched at the question.
"I-I'm scared."
"Of what? It's not like the police are hunting you down, they're still looking at the evidence."
"It's not that."
"Then what is it?"
Beomgyu's palms started getting sweaty and his hands were shaking. He looked at his surroundings and went close Choerry, whispering in her ear.
"Soobin is trying to kill me.."
