"Soobin-ah!"
Sooyoung called out for her son, who was sitting in a chair near the filming set. He had a notebook and pen, and he seemed to be writing something that he heard from one of the actors. Sooyoung looked at the notebook, and saw a paper saying "trying to be like my mom! :)"
Sooyoung smiled at that, and then put her hand on her son's shoulder, catching his attention. He looked up, and saw his mother looking at him with softness and love. He was indeed confused.
"Listen, I know how much you want to be an actor," Sooyoung said, "And you know how we don't have a child actor right now?"
Soobin nodded.
"Someone brought it up to me that maybe you could play the role!"
Soobin's eyes lit up and he looked at his mother in disbelief, "Will you really let me?"
"I thought you deserve a chance in the spotlight. I'll bring it up to the director, and if he agrees, then you can!" Sooyoung smiled and Soobin suddenly started screaming out of joy!
"Thank you mom! I love you!"
He gave her a tight hug, and Sooyoung returned it with a big smile on her face. She never knew that Soobin would've been so happy over this. Maybe it wouldn't be too bad to let him pursue acting if he was this passionate about it.
Sooyoung pulled away from the hug and grabbed Soobin's hand, walking over to the director, "Hey, you needed a child actor, right?"
The director then turned to face her, "Yes. Yes we did. Have you found someone?"
"I was thinking..maybe my son could take up that role."
"Eh?!"
The director looked down and saw Soobin staring at him with determination in his eyes. Seems like he really wanted to do this.
"I'd be honored to, but what led to your change of heart? I thought you wanted him to be a doctor."
"Well," Sooyoung started, "Your assistant seemed to help convince me."
"Assistant? What assistant?" The director looked at her confused.
"What do you mean?"
"Aish never mind that! Soobin, let's go get you ready, alright?"
Soobin nodded and followed the director to one of the studio rooms. He was on the verge of crying, screaming, and just jumping all over the place in joy. Was this really happening?
Was his dream really coming true?

A few hours later, Soobin walked out with a script in his hand and dressed up for the role he was going to play. He looked all around the room, seeing the cameramen setting up cameras everywhere, people setting up lighting, fixing audio, fixing a few props on the sets. Was he really working here now?
The director walked over to Soobin, who was still gazing at the entire set. He then looked up at the director with teary eyes.
"All of this is for me?"
The director nodded, "Yeah, it is."
Tears started falling from Soobin's face as he continued to look at everything. This all had to be a dream, right? He would wake up, and his mom would still be bugging him about being a doctor.
The director gave him a pat on the back and looked at him with a reassuring smile, "You're gonna do great kid."

"And...ACTION!"
The young boy was sitting at the side of the train tracks with his younger sister, who was sick. They had been trying to get to a hospital, but since they were only kids, they didn't have enough money to travel to the center of Pyongyang.
They were kicked out of the train, and left alone. The young boy kept begging for other people to help him and his sick younger sister, but they all just ignored him. He was left helpless.
He looked back at his sister, who was laying on a bunch of boxes with nothing more than a blanket that couldn't even cover her entire body. If he didn't find help quick, the two of them would probably die out here.
He then saw a car drive by, and immediately ran towards it. He knocked on the window, hoping they would roll it down, and they did. It revealed an old man in a suit, along with the driver in the front.
The people around them started freaking out, knowing who it belonged to, but the younger boy didn't seem to care.
"Sir, could you please help me and my little sister?" He cried, "She has a high fever, and our father was shot dead near the DMZ!"
"Yah, kid! What the hell do you think you're doing? That's the chairman of The Party! Do you know who he is?" Another man yelled, pulling him back from the car.
"I don't care!"
"He works for Kim Il-sung! You could get yourself killed!"
"Let me go!"
"Let him speak," the old man said, motioning for the boy to come back to the car, "I'm intrigued."
The boy then ran back to the car, putting his hands together in a begging motion, "Please help me!"
He then pointed towards his sister, "Or at least save her.."
The chairman frowned, "Your father was killed near the DMZ?"
The boy nodded.
"And your sister is sick?"
He nodded again.
"Hm.."
"Please sir! I'll do anything!" The boy begged
"Anything?"
"Anything!" He cried, "If you asked me to kill myself, I would!"
"CUT!"

Sooyoung immediately sat up from her chair and started clapping like crazy. Soobin looked over at her, and he then had the biggest smile on his face. Sooyoung ran towards him and gave him a big hug.
"You really have been taking notes from your mother. That was amazing Soobin-ah!"
"Was it really? Did I really do that?" Tears started to form again, and he hugged his mom back.
"Yes, yes you did that! You did great! I'm so sorry for ever doubting you."
Soobin was full on crying now. He couldn't believe everything that was happening. Would his mom finally allow him to continue on with his dreams? Would he be able to be like her?
Beomgyu watched them from behind and smiled. He got weird looks from staff, probably because they were all wondering who he was. But he didn't care. All he cared about in the moment was the fact that he was able to change things for the better.
He hoped that Soobin would turn out to be a better person in the future.
