It was around 9pm, and Soobin was just now coming home after almost 8 hours. He tried his best to keep away from his mother, but the text messages he got were starting to get threatening, so he had no choice but to go home.
Throughout the 8 hours he was out, he had found a small ramen shop, and chatted with the owner. She was an older lady, maybe around her 60s, and she was very kind and understanding of his situation. She let Soobin stay for a few hours, and he was able to talk to her about his dreams for the future.
She encouraged him to become an actor, no matter what his mother said, "You would be really great at it, I can already tell. You even have the face for it! You shouldn't let others get in the way of your dreams."
Soobin smiled at her words, and he then left after receiving a bunch of text messages from his mother. He bowed at the old lady, and she gave him a bowl of ramen noodles with a warm smile. He accepted it then waved to her as he walked home.
The walk was about 30 minutes, and Soobin found himself in front of a big gate, which led to his home. He opened the gate and walked inside the front yard. He never dreaded being here before, but today was completely different.
'Nothing but a disgrace.'
He shook the thoughts away and opened the door to his home, entering it quietly. He slowly shut the door behind him and looked around the house. His mother was nowhere to be found, so he took this as his chance to run upstairs to his room.
"Choi Soobin." said a stern voice from behind him. He turned around to see his mother glaring right at him.
"Why were you gone so long? How the hell could you leave the studio without my permission?!" she yelled. Soobin just stood there, having a blank look on his face.
"ANSWER ME!"
"I thought I was nothing but a disgrace, so why would you want me to come back anyways?" Soobin said coldly.
"That doesn't give you the right to just leave!" Sooyoung yelled at him, "I mean what I said back there, but what if the media found out?!"
"The media?!" Soobin scoffed, "So all you care about is your image?"
"You're part of my image! 'Actor Choi Sooyoung mistreats her son blah blah blah' YOU THINK I WANT THAT THERE?!"
"IT SUMS UP WHO YOU ARE PERFECTLY!" Soobin yelled before running upstairs to his room, slamming the door.
"CHOI SOOBIN!" Sooyoung yelled, but no response. She sighed from frustration and walked upstairs to her son's room, "Open this goddamn door."
No response.
"Don't make me come in there myself."
Still no response.
She sighed and opened the door, only to immediately have a pair of scissors thrown at her. They just barely missed her face and were stabbed into the wall. Soobin was in the back of the room, giving her a death glare.
"And just what the hell do you think you're doing?" Sooyoung scoffed and walked over to Soobin, "You really think you could get rid of me that easily?"
"What if I were to kill you right here, right now?" Soobin said blankly. Sooyoung just rolled her eyes and scoffed.
"You're not capable of doing th-"
Sooyoung fell to the ground, her neck bleeding as she started coughing. Soobin had another pair of scissors in his hand, now bloody, due to her slitting the other's throat.
