Everything was black, it felt like the air had been ripped out of his lungs, Taehyun couldn't breathe. The world kept spinning and it felt like it was the end. The school pool he was once in was no longer a pool, but a deep ocean.
But then he saw something, no, someone. It looked like a lady with blonde hair and she was wearing a blue, flowy dress. He saw her coming towards him and everything soon went black again after that. He had passed out.
-Flashback-
Beomgyu had been running around the halls of the school, trying to skip class. He didn't need to get into a good college, he didn't care about that. What he needed to do was find his sister.
Ever since he took his DNA test and found out he had a sister, he was destined to find her and hopefully re-unite his family.
As he was running, he saw a brown hair boy sitting in the library, reading a book.
Put Out The Fire was the title.
Beomgyu walked into the library to try and get a better look at him, but immediately halted in his steps.
The boy he was looking at was beautiful.
His plump lips, his big doe eyes, the was his bangs would fall over his eyes. He was perfect. Beomgyu couldn't help but stare.
"Take a picture, it'll last longer." said the boy, not looking up from his book.
"Ah, sorry. Was I staring?"
"For five minutes, yeah. It's kinda weird. If there's something on my face just say so, no need to stare." He said, finally looking up from his book.
'Beauty...that's what I was staring at ' Beomgyu thought.
"Oh, yeah, sorry. Uhm..God what do I even say?"
"Your name, perhaps? I need to know my secret admirer better." The boy said with a slight chuckle.
"Oh! Yeah my name! I'm Choi Beomgyu! I'm 16 years old and I'm in my second year here at Magic Academy!" He smiled as he introduced himself.
"I'm Kang Taehyun, 15 years old, second year here." He said, not as much energy put into the introduction as Beomgyu but hey, at least they can know each other better, right?
"What are you doing here in the library?" Taehyun asked
"Oh, I was skipping class trying to find my sister."
"Ah, I'm skipping too. I can't stand Mr. Jeon. He only talks about his sister and curses, it gets boring since I know everything about them both."
"You're friends with Jeon Heejin?! THE PRETTIEST GIRL IN SCHOOL?!"
"Yeah. Is there an issue?"
"Nono, it's just. She's the prettiest girl in school, you're the prettiest boy in school..." He mumbled the last part but Taehyun could still hear him pretty clearly and he slightly smiled.
No one would notice the smile but Beomgyu was different, he observed every part of Taehyun and the small smile made his heart flutter.
"I'm the prettiest boy in school? Most people give that title to Hwang Hyunjin. I'm a rat compared to-"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL AND DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE" Beomgyu yelled, immediately putting his hand over his mouth.
"Sorry..."
Taehyun stared at him with his doe eyes, soon bursting into laughter.
"You're cute, let's be friends Beomgyu-ssi."
"That's hyung to you!"
Taehyun laughed again and held his hand out, waiting for Beomgyu to take it.
"Beom-hyung, would you like to be friends with me?"
Beom-hyung... Beomgyu's heart fluttered at the nickname and couldn't help but bite back a blush, his ears giving him away.
Taehyun smiled at the sight.
Cute! He thought.
Beomgyu took his hand and smiled, looking at him in the eye.
"I would love to, Tyun-ah."
-Present-
His eyes shot open as he saw two males sitting over him.
"Taehyun-ah! Oh, thank God you're okay!" Yeonjun exclaimed, pulling him into a tight hug.
"God I thought you died." All Taehyun could do was hug him back, confused as to what just happened.
He looked at his surroundings, seeing grass, purple trees, small rivers, and a door leading to what looked like a building burning. A building he knew all too well.
"Isn't that the school?"
It went silent.
"Where are we anyways?" Taehyun asked.
"We're in Magic Island." A girl beamed. She had blonde hair and very distinctive features.
"You're probably wondering who I am, I'm Jung Jinsoul!" She said.
"She's the one that saved you from drowning." Soobin said
"What happened to Kai?" Taehyun asked as he starting to look for the boy again.
"Kai? He's here too." Jinsoul said, pointing to a tree.
Taehyun stood up and started walking around. The scenery of the area was really beautiful.
"So this is Magic Island huh?" Taehyun said to himself. The trees and the sky were all a bright purple shade, pinkish water, dark green grass, and colorful flowers.
As Taehyun walked around, he spotted a boy with long brown hair, cut in a ragged way but yet he looked great with it.
Taehyun walked over to the boy, curious as to who he was.
"Hello? Hey, I'm Kang Taehyun. Do you mind telling me your name?"
Silence.
"Hello?"
Silence again.
Alright, sorry to bother you." Taehyun said, walking off. But, as he was walking off, he felt someone grab his wrist and pull him into a hug, soon feeling his shirt being soaked with tears.
"Taehyun-ah, I'm sorry.." The boy said, not letting go of Taehyun at all.
'Wait..how does he know that I'm younger than him?' Taehyun thought, and soon realization hit him,
"Beomgyu-hyung?"
