February 28, 2020

Beomgyu woke up to the sun right in his eyes. He rose up from his bed with his eyes still closed. Clearly extremely tired. After a few minutes of fighting sleep, Beomgyu's eyes shot open from realization.

"Wait- what day is it?" Beomgyu grabbed his phone to check the date, and he immediately had a huge smile on his face.

February 28, 2020.

"IT WORKED!" he screamed. He was cheering and jumped all over his room, though his cheering then stopped once he heard a knock on the door.

"Mr. Choi? Is everything okay? It's still really early so you have to be quiet for our other guests." said a woman from outside, presumably someone who worked at the hotel he stayed out.

"Sorry!" Beomgyu said then immediately went back to his phone.

He put in the passcode and immediately opened his contacts, calling Taehyun. It went on for 3 rings before the boy finally picked up, and he was rather angry too.

"It's 7am on a Friday, what the hell do you want?" Taehyun snarled in his morning voice, "You know I don't have classes today!"

Beomgyu had a huge smile on his face from hearing the boy's voice and almost started screaming, "You're safe right? You're not hurt or anything?"

"Physically? No. Emotionally? Yes. Cause SOMEONE interrupted my beauty sleep!"

"Nothing has blown up? No bomb?"

"Are you fucking drunk? Why would something blow up?!" Taehyun just scoffed and it's like you could hear him rolling his eyes, "Goodbye Choi Beomgyu!"

Taehyun hung up the phone and Beomgyu was then left hanging. He just sighed as he went to the bathroom to get changed into a new pair of clothes. He had a long day ahead of him, he didn't even remember if he had anything planned for this exact day.

After he got ready, he ran out the door and went to the nearest bus stop. He sat on the bench and scrolled through Instagram. He smiled after seeing a bunch of photos Yeonjun had posted of the five of them.

'That's why Taehyun was so tired.'

He continued to scroll on his phone for a few minutes until the bus arrived. He looked up and saw the bus parked, and walked inside.

"To Namsan Trapalce!" Beomgyu said to the bus driver as he paid for his ride. He went to the seat all the way in the back. As he walked over, he saw a girl sitting near the window with long orange hair and bangs.

"ViVi?"

"Huh- oh! Hello Beomgyu!" ViVi said with a slight bow and Beomgyu did the same, also confused.

"Your hair is orange in this timeline and you seem very human like..."

"Excuse me?"

"Sorry! It's nothing. Anyways, where are you going?" Beomgyu shook his head as if he was erasing a thought.

"I'm meeting up with my friend, HeeJin! We wanted to catch up on a few things. What about you?"

"I'm also gonna go meet up with a friend!"

"That's nice. Sit down next to me, I haven't gotten the chance to talk to you much ever since we were in Magic Island." ViVi patted on the seat next to her and Beomgyu gladly took it.

"God, I miss it there.. I wanna go back! Things were so perfect there." Beomgyu pouted.

"Yeah, all of us should go back sometime! Unfortunately, the easiest way there was blocked off by police because it's apparently tOo dAnGeRoUs." ViVi rolled her eyes at the statement.

"Kill them." Beomgyu suddenly said.

"I think you've been watching too many documentaries with Soobin..."

Beomgyu had finally made it to the apartment complex he's been waiting to get to. After ViVi left, the ride was pretty boring and he couldn't wait to get there anymore. As soon as the bus parked there, he got off and ran to the entrance.

After he was inside, he ran all the up the stairs, too excited to take the elevator, and ran towards the end of the hallway. He stopped in front of the room number 17 and brought his fist up to knock on the door, only to hear screaming. It sounded like a scream of a male, but the only male living there was Hueningkai. And that definitely wasn't his scream.

Beomgyu was confused. Very confused. He recognized that voice way too well. It was a voice he heard his entire life. He's heard it since he was a baby even.

It was his own.

He looked through a crack in the curtains to see what was going on, and saw two guys in the room fighting. One of them being himself, and the other he couldn't quite tell, since he had a hood on.

The Beomgyu in that room seemed to be holding onto a book and had spikes growing out his shoulder. It was the same ones that present Beomgyu had from his curse. But something about the scene seemed very strange.

The hooded man kept throwing Beomgyu to the floor, trying to take the book. But he failed in equipping it each time. What was so important about the book? Why was Beomgyu so reluctant on keeping it.

Present Beomgyu was confused. Had he gone insane? Why was he seeing himself fighting with someone? He continued to look at the scene that unfolded, and as the other Beomgyu was on the ground, the two made eye contact.

Beomgyu was paralyzed.

After a few seconds, he finally come to his senses and the window he was looking through just revealed a plain living room. He only saw his reflection in the window, and not another version of himself fighting.

That was weird.

The boy blinked a few times, rubbed his eyes, and shook his head to get back into the right state of mind. After he was done being crazy, he finally knocked on the door, waiting for a response.

The door had opened, revealing a boy with brown fluffy hair. The boy that Beomgyu had waited all day to see. He smiled and jumped on the other, giving him a tight hug.

"HYUKA! Oh my god, I'm so glad you're safe!"

"Is this the drunk person Taehyun complained about?"
