Chapter 20 - The Gang
Author's Note: Hello, this is a public service announcement. I am on fire. Literally wrote this in one day. Also this is the third day in a row I've posted. I have no idea why but, I keep thinking of things to add to the story and I cannot stop. Hope you all enjoy this next chapter. It's been kinda heavy and sad the last few chapters so hopefully this helps a bit :)

This morning I woke Ultear up extra early to decorate the classroom to wish Meredy goodbye. She wasn't going to be with us for Graduation, so we were going to bring the ceremony to her.
Ultear was gluing cardboard together to make a DIY cap for her. While I was adding glitter to the poster we made for her.
We were fighting our need to take a nap by doing crafts. While we worked, we caught up a bit more. Specifically about my whole Gray dilemma that she was not here for. It was the perfect time considering he wasn't in this class.
Ultear wretched like a cat with a hairball stuck in their throat. The mere thought of Daphne and Gray made her sick to her stomach, "You've got to be kidding me. He really chose that bag of human poo over you? He's insane."
I laughed, "Well, I mean. I never actually formally told him I liked him. So how would he have known?"
"Wow so, two failed attempts, huh?" Ultear stated.
"Yeah," I sighed, "I guess so. Maybe fate doesn't want us to be together. Just forever doomed to be a one sided unrequited love."
"There are other guys out there, Juvia." Ultear laughed.
Causally I mentioned, "Yeah, I know. I have a date tomorrow."
"What?" She grabbed both of my shoulders with each of her hands, "Also, When? Who? Where? How?"
"Uh..." I felt bombarded by all of her questions, "Well... Saturday. His name is Bora. I don't know yet and I met him at the library yesterday. He asked for my number."
"Bora? Is he in Class A too?" She gave it a deep thought if she knew him.
I shook my head proudly, No. he's a college guy."
"Dang. Who are you and what are you doing with Juvia?" She gushed and fanned her face, "A college guy?"
Before I could reply the classroom door swung open. "Is that thee Ultear Milkovich? At school?" Lyon came in, gasped sarcastically and looked at the time on his watch, "And on an A.M. time too?! Wow! I never thought I would see it!"
She rolled her eyes at him, "Hey, Lyon."
He stood between us both and wrapped his arms around us, "The original Gang's back together again, eh?" He grinned.
"When were we ever The Gang?" Ultear questioned as she pushed his arm off of her shoulder.
I followed the same as Ultear and shimmied my shoulders until Lyon's arm fell off.
"What do you mean? It's been the three of us since middle school!" Lyon insisted.
"Are you sure about that, Lyon?" Ultear put her hands on her hips, "I'd say it was more like Juvia and I trying to hang out and you were constantly following us. We couldn't get rid of you then and apparently we still can't now."
Lyon gave her a hug, "Ah, I missed this fun pretend mean thing we do to each other!"
"It's not an act, Lyon." Ultear grimaced, "Now get off of me!" They both started swatting their hands at each other.
