Ch 24 - Photograph
Author's Note— Hello My Friends! Sorry I've been out for a bit. I meant to post this a few days ago, but I got my Covid Booster Shot and I got every side effect in the book. However I have no regrets. It is better than the alternative!

[Omniscient POV]
A very short tempered Daphne was left waiting outside of the Fullbuster-Milkovich household. Her hand was on her hips and her feet were tapping on the floor as she counted every second Gray was keeping her waiting. Gray wasn't answering Daphne's calls. It began to worry her as he was usually fairly punctual.
He said he wanted to talk to her and she went out of her way to go see him. It was only polite to at least be on time when he initiated it. He invited her. How could he forget about her? What was so busy that he couldn't remember to commit to coming outside of his own house?
Daphne's patience was running thin as she waited an entirety of 10 whole minutes for him outside of her house.
As it was so late at night, she questioned if it would be inconvenient to ring the doorbell at this hour. She decided knocking would be a better alternative.
When she peaked through the window, which looked into the entrance of Gray's house. It was dimly lit, not completely pitch black.
She could make out a couple of figures in the living room, she hoped to get their attention by banging on the door.
Her fist was scrunched into a ball, ready to knock and get their attention. Before she went through with it, she winced her eyes to see who it was. Daphne secretly hoped it wasn't Gray's stepsister, Ultear. Truth be told, Daphne absolutely hated her and did not want to deal with her.
To get a closer look, her face was nearly pressed on the glass. She spotted a girl with a bluenette braid. It wasn't hard for her to guess it was Lockser. A grimace plastered on Daphne's face. She noticed there was some unrecognizable random girl in a pantsuit there too.
The two in the living room looked to be very chummy with each other. Daphne raised an eyebrow as she observed them share a seemingly non-platonic squeeze.
While the two were embracing, she caught a glance at who it was. It wasn't a random girl at all. It was none other than Gray!
In Daphne's perspective, it was bad enough that Gray was in a tasteless pantsuit, but he was also hugging Daphne's mortal enemy.
Daphne was drunk with rage, she did not expect to see her Gray-poo pulling her least favorite person on the planet in a tight hug.
He was clutching on to her so tightly, it brought a snarl on Daphne's face as well as a faint eye twitch. She could not believe what she was actually seeing with her own eyes. How could he betray her like this? In Daphne's eyes, Gray belonged to her.
"What in the hell?" She hissed to herself.
She was physically shaking as she was overcome by rage, her eyes could only see red. It irked her immensely that Gray has never once acted like that with her. Her fury ignited further as she had the displeasure of seeing them close in on each other.
Daphne took it upon herself to pull her phone out and take a photo of this abomination. Prompting the photo, their lips were inches from each other. Daphne fumed out of her ears. She couldn't even bear to look!
How dare he waste her time like this? He was cheating on her! Cheating on her with some cheap Class B hussy!
She stormed off, stomping her feet with each step. Her private car pulled up to the front and opened the door for her.
