Chapter 25: Homewrecker
AUTHORS NOTE: Hello! We are nearing the end, I'm estimating at minimum 5ish chapters (or more I tend to type a lot more than I think I do. But, either way we are reaching the conclusion soon) left before I move into the sequel. I do have to let you guys know I'm going to see my grandma at the end of the month for a week and I won't have a signal to post when I'm there. I'll try to get some writing done when I'm there but on the week of March 27-April 2 I will be on a short hiatus and no post that week. I'm hoping I get to the end of the story before then, but just in case :)
I appreciate everyone who is keeping up with my story so far, it's been a long couple months and some of you have been so loyal to me. I love reading all the comments and notifications I get after I post. You guys rock! Thanks so much! Love you all!

It was hard to move on following the event in the lobby. Especially because everyone just kept talking about it. Word spread around the entire school quicker than last year's Mono outbreak, there wasn't a single person who didn't talk about it. Was there nothing better to do than talk about the misfortunes of others around here? Who were we all kidding? It is high school after all. Everyone lives off of this stuff.
The worst part was, just like every rumor it spread around ever changing slightly each time it was told. That's the thing about Word-Of-Mouth News. Like a game of Telephone, it got even more ridiculous each time.
You would think that people would know the difference between truth and exaggeration, but that's high school for you. Not a lot of smart cookies in this building.
It was obvious Gray was in the picture, but the infamous bluenette girl kissing Gray wasn't identified by everyone in school. Theories were passed along the school on the mystery girl. The whole Gray-in-girls-clothes joke died out pretty fast, now everyone just wanted to know who he was kissing.
Some girls envied her, others wanted to gouge her eyes out with jealousy. Overall, everyone wanted to know who the mystery girl was. Juvia tries everything in her power not to look bothered to subside the suspensions against her.
"We could list out all the girls we know who have blue hair." An underclassman student suggested it to her friend. They both were playing super sleuths, trying to solve identity.
Ultear's head swung in their direction as she eavesdropped on the random students' conversation, "The hell you will!"
They peeped with fear, "Sorry, ma'am!"
"You know It was only a matter of time before everyone finds out who it actually was." Another student mentions to Ultear.
"There's nothing to find out!" Lyon jumped in and insisting from inches from their faces, "It's photoshopped!" He emphasized photoshop because of how sure he was that it was nothing more than fake news.
A new student pops up to join the conversation, "Well, Gray is wearing girls clothes, what if the person he is kissing was also a guy in women's clothes!"
One more came and chimed in to agree, "I heard it was a guy! Look at their shoulders!" She pulled out of her bag a copy of the photo and pointed at it with scrutiny, "Those shoulders are way too wide to be a girl!"
Juvia gasped quietly and her hands were across her chest to rest her shoulder blades. She suddenly felt insecure about her shoulders.
Ultear snatched it from the girl's hands, "Throw that out. It's trash and so are your opinions." She crumpled it up and threw it into the garbage bin, "Get you and your overgrown highlights out of here!"
