Ch 29: Operation M.J.H.G.G.O.C.B.T.L.B.
Author's Note: Hey Readers! Sorry I've been less active than I would like to be here. I really thought that since I'm at home on bed rest I would have time to write but, I've been in more pain than I thought and I literally have been sleeping all day. I'll do my best to try to keep posting weekly, however if you don't hear from me for a bit this is probably why.

[Juvia's POV]
"Alright!" I bounced up from my bed, "Today is the day!" I couldn't help but say with a big smile on my face.
When I opened my eyes, the sky was pitch black. It wasn't even sunset out yet, but the Moon was about to set.
Never have I ever woken up this early willingly but, I couldn't help myself, I'm so excited to start working today. First day on the job!
Well, if we are being technical I didn't actually get the job yet. Today is kind of like a trial basis and at the end of the day I'll figure out if I get to stay.
After all, how difficult can it be?

[Juvia POV — 8 Island Cafe — Later that Day]
Okay... I was sorely mistaken. This was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be. How the heck does Lyon do this so well?
"I'm in big trouble now!" I sighed as I sweeped alone in the back room while Lyon did about ninety percent of all the work. "I don't stand a chance here!"
As I smacked my head on the mop end I found myself reminiscing the last few hours of my first, and.... Probably the last shift...

[Omniscient POV— Flashback]
"Juvie, My Love, here are the top secret formulas for the entire menu. As an employee it is like our most precious guide. So be sure to memorize this!" Lyon declares as he drops a whopping ten pound recipe book on the counter. Everything on the counter rumbled as a reaction to the book's crushing weight.
Juvia's eyes widened in shock as her jaw dropped down to the floor, "I really didn't realize there was a lot of reading in this job." She mentioned nervously while scratching the back of her head. "Eheheh?"
Mr. Yajima didn't look too confident in the young girl as she unconfidently skimmed through the pages. It didn't seem like she had absorbed enough of the information. He shook his head in disappointment, which only made Juvia more nervous.
Lyon came back after a half hour, testing Juvia to see what she remembered from the text. A quiz that Juvia stood no chance in, even if she had a whole day to do it.
"When making the Beast Man Curry," he questioned her, but paused before continuing the question to give Juvia some time to recall the recipes she just studied.
Unfortunately for her sake, there wasn't much information that Juvia could remember on the fly. So she nodded her head as if she actually understood what Lyon was talking about. However she didn't even remember reading that recipe.
"What would the preparation process for the onions in this recipe call for?" Lyon had an overwhelming amount of faith in Juvia.
Juvia rubbed her chin as she used all of her brain power to try to remember what to do. She thought about every picture she saw on each page to see if it would ring any bells for her. On each page she was sure she never saw onions come up.
