"Hey, Winter. Um, what time do you plan on leaving? It's getting pretty late."
"I'm not sure. Probably in another hour or so."
"Oh ok, I was just wondering because I really don't want you driving out there when it gets dark out."
"Jay, I will be perfectly fine. Now hash up and finish cooking the food. I'm hungry and I'm sure the others are too."
Jay laughed at my comment as I stood leaned against the counter with my arms crossed. Jay was cooking dinner for his friends, and I decided to just hang out in the kitchen and keep him company. It was around 8pm and the sun was starting to set so that's why he wanted to know when I would be leaving. If I'm being honest, I've been considering possibly staying the night. I mean his friends are really cool and I am enjoying the distraction that it's providing from everything. Jay is supposed to be making some chicken Alfredo with some homemade garlic bread.
"So, since you're here..." He asked as he poured the pasta noodles into the pot of water on the stove so that they could begin to boil.
"What do you want Jay?"
"You feel like making us some desert?"
"Give me one good reason why I should do that." I said as I looked his body up and down really quick. Jay was wearing some black sweats with a dark gray T-shirt that hugged his body perfectly showing the outlines of his abs and muscles.
"Well, you'll have something sweet to eat when you crave for it, and I'll give you anything you want while you're here."
"Anything?" Jay leaned against the counter behind him near the stove as we made eye contact. Come to think of it, I have been deprived of a few things. I smirked as I got an idea and pushed myself off the counter and slowly walked over to him. Once I stood in front of him, I placed my hand on his chest. I leaned in a little bit and whispered to him as he placed his hands on the counter and turned his head to look at me making our lips only inches apart.
"Define anything luv."
Jay smirked before he placed his lips on mine as we shared a kiss. Jay nipped my bottom lip causing me to slightly open my mouth as he slid his tongue into my mouth. as our tongues fought for dominance which he of course won, he moved both of his hands so that they were resting on my hips. I moved mine around his neck as the kiss got deeper by the second. Soon enough the slow sweet passionate kiss that we were sharing turned to a rough one as he started kissing me hungrily. He pulled me closer to him and I felt his member rubbing against my stomach a little. I moaned lightly into the kiss as I pulled him to me a little more. Jay flipped us around as he picked me up and set me on top of the counter without breaking the kiss and moving his hands so that they were caressing my thighs.
"Wait... What if... one of your... friends come in?" I asked through the kiss as I started to play with his hair while tangling my fingers up in it. Jay broke the kiss after a few more seconds and looked at me as he still caressed my thighs with his thumb.
"Don't worry about them."
"And what about the food that you're supposed to be cooking?"
"The noodles have barely started to boil. I need those to finish before I can do anything else."
"But can't you start getting everything-" I was caught off mid sentence by Jay smashing his lips on mine. Guess that's his way of telling me to shut up.
We shared a kiss for another minute or so before he broke the kiss again and did some more cooking. I just stayed on the counter as I watched him do his thing. Once the noodles were finished, he took them and poured them into a strainer to get all the water out of the pot. After that he added the seasoning to the noodles and mixed them up. As he let them sit for a few minutes he grabbed a big tin foil pan to mix everything up in. The chicken was already cooked when I came into the kitchen so I'm basically just watching him finish everything up. He poured the pasta and chicken into the tinfoil pan as he just added the last few things in which was some parmesan and one other kind of cheese, I don't know the name of, with a little more sauce as he stirred it up before he covered it and put it in the oven for about 5 minutes. Guess that was so the cheese could melt and the food would stay warm as he did the last few things.
When he finished with the pasta, he took out 2 lofts of Italian bread and cut them up into even pieces. After that he spread butter on the surface of each piece of bread, he made sure to get both sides as well. Next, he sprinkled some garlic seasoning on the face of the pieces of bread, he only did one side though, the side that was face up for right now. Then he sprinkled a small amount of cheese and parsley on the bread. Finally, he put it in the oven for 5 minutes and took the pan out of the oven. As we awaited the bread to finish, he started making the plates and grabbing glasses to pour drinks into.
"Do you want me to call everyone?" I asked Jay as I saw him checking on the bread one last time before he took it out.
"Sure."
I hopped off the counter and made my way out of the kitchen as I went to grab the others so that everyone could eat. After I called for everyone, we all took a seat at the table. I say between Kaliha and Jay on the left side of the table. Across from us was Mia, Jordan and Christopher. Then at the end of the table, in front of the back door was Christopher's boyfriend Kai. Once we made sure everyone was seated we began eating, talking and joking around.
...
"So you're telling me that you have never once in your life skipped a class or ditch school?" Mia asked Kai. We've been talking about random things all through dinner and somehow the topic changed to skipping and ditching school.
Jordan was telling a kind of funny story about how he and a group of his friends were skipping a class during his freshman year of school and almost got caught. Anyways, long story short, Kai said something about the fact that he's never ditched a class or school before but the rest of us have.
"Yeah, is that bad?" Kai asked us. I swear his innocence is so cute.
"No, it's just that some people may feel like that's an experience you have to do at least once during high-school. Kind of like how there are certain things people do in college to get the full experience." I said as I tried to explain to him that he didn't need to worry about it. I mean you ain't supposed to do it anyways so I gave props to the kids that haven't done it. Still, it is fun though.
"Here Kai, another way to think about it would be, the thrill and adrenaline that you get from doing it is what makes it fun." Jay said as he took a sip from his wine.
"Exactly. You still shouldn't do it but it can be fun. You just have to be careful and do it correctly." Kaliha said.
"So if I wanted to I could do it now? Like when we go back I mean." Kai asked us. Me, Jay, Mia, Kaliha, and Jason nodded our heads.
"Of course babe. I'll even do it with you and show you the ropes." Chris offered to help his man ditch class.
With that we just sat there a little longer talking and joking around with each other. At some point I made us some chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream as dessert and we all ate that before everyone started going separate ways while me and Jay stayed in the kitchen cleaning up.
