"Well, I'm very proud of how far you've come in the last five years little sis."

"I agree with Jason, you have come a long way from where you were. I mean look how you went from this playgirl who was from off the streets and owned a club to being the princess of the fashion empire."

"Please come back home with us. Let us celebrate these accomplishments as well as your birthday. You're about to be 23 and are already at the prime of your career and life. Hell, if you wanted to you could retire at 30 and be good for the rest of your life."

"Thank you. And I am coming home. Only for a week or two though. I need more inspiration for my designs, and I need a vacation from all the stress."

Smiling, I answered my brothers' indirect question about me returning home. I mean I wouldn't mind visiting Chicago and seeing how much has changed. Seeing the friends that didn't cut me off and seeing how all of them are doing.

My brothers and I were here at the restaurant they brought me too for lunch, wrapping up what was the last of the desert we ordered. Now, they have a meeting to go to and I'm just going to make sure I have everything ready to go for tonight when we fly out to Chicago. Hopefully, this birthday doesn't go to hell.

After we landed we went straight to a new house that Jason and Nick bought sometime after I moved to Miami. Entering the house I was met with pitch black darkness and complete silence and when I turned to my brothers to ask them where the light switch was... they were gone.

"What the fuck?" Whispering to myself as I used the hand not holding my bags to feel against the wall looking for the switch, next thing I knew it was on and...

"SURPRISE!!!"

My brothers, Raven, Aaron, Iris, Christina, Andre, Roya, Nick, King, Ricky, Jay, Mia, Kaliha, Chris, Jordan, and a few others came out of hiding spots. Looking around I saw the decorations that were put up for me, a mix between welcome home decorations and Happy birthday decorations. Half these people I wouldn't even imagine being here considering what happened between Aaron and I and how badly people were pissed off with me for doing him the way that I did.

"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you dear Winter/lil sis, happy birthday to you!~"

Everyone started singing as Roya brought a strawberry shortcake cheesecake out with the candle numbers 23. Once they finished I made my wish and blew the candles out, smiling as folks took the pictures they wanted and from the joy that I was feeling. Once all that was done, we spent the night partying.

"What made you guys come to the party? Especially after all this time? I thought all of you were done with me after what happened between me and Aaron."

"Well, after we found out why you graduated early and left for Miami, we all kind of felt bad. The day Aaron and I stopped at your locker, when you were cleaning it out, was because we wanted to talk to you about everything that happened. We also kind of got worried about you when you didn't show to school for about 3 weeks after it happened, and you weren't talking to anyone so we kind of thought you did something to yourself and just weren't discovered." Chrstina responded to my question as the others nodded in agreement.

"Didn't seem like you all were that worried about my well-being when Iris was busy making some rude and nasty ass comments about me when I walked past you guys in the hallway."

"I'm sorry about that Winter, I was immature back then and I really loved Aaron and I knew how much he liked you and finding out what you did to him really pissed me off, but I should have handled that better and I'm sorry. I'm hoping that you will allow me to have a fresh start and allow us to try and be friends. I mean Aaron and I are engaged after all and are getting married at the end of the week and we would like for you to come."
