In this past week Aaron and I have just been trying to spend as much time together as possible. We went to the movies, out for dinner, he took me shopping, went for walks in the park and on the lakefront, went to a few arcades, you know just going out together and having fun. Today is the day that he leaves for his trip. Sadly, I can't be there to see him off because an emergency came up at the club, so I needed to be here to take care of it. I was with him this morning though, so I got to say 'goodbye' to him then.

"Boss, one of our guests wanted to know if you could close down the club for tonight so that they could host a private event."

"No, I refuse to let a couple of gang members try and use my club as their little hang out. You know my rules when it comes to that."

"But they're offering a lot of money. The club could use that money. This would be a very good opportunity for us, for you, and for this club."

"How much are they willing to pay?"

"Over 3 million."

"Damn, we really could use that. Ok, they can have it but only for tonight but police better not come knocking at that door and there better not be any drama. Also, no weapons whatsoever, anyone caught or seen with one will be put out immediately no exceptions."

"I will let them know right away."

"Oh! Before you go, I wanted to tell you that you're going to be the one looking after the club tonight. I'm going to meet up with an old friend of mine and hang for a bit. Make sure I come back to my club looking the same way that it does now."

"Yes ma'am."

With that my manager for the club, Justin, left out of my office and went to attend to our guest and relay the message I've given him. I on the other hand texted Jay. Me and him are planning to go to a bowling alley with some of his friends, the same ones I met before when I met him at his cabin in the forest.

Jay❣

Winter, what time are you coming to the bowling alley tonight?

Uh.. in about an hour. Just wrapping

Up at the club right now.

Jay❣

Ok, well we are all here and are just waiting for you.

Did you already rent one of the sections?

Jay❣

Yeah, we also ordered some pizza which is being made now.

Ok, well I'm leaving out now so I'll see you there.

Jay❣

Ok, see you.

With that I turned my phone off as I grabbed my keys and purse and left the club to my car. I drove over to the bowling alley that I was supposed to be meeting my friends at. When I arrived, I got out and entered the building instantly spotting where the group was at. I walked over to them and gained their attention the moment I was a few feet away.

"Winter! You made it!" Mia said as she ran over and hugged me. Chuckling I hugged her back then hugged everyone else one by one.

"Where's Khaliha?" I noticed that she wasn't around.

"She went to get the pizza. They just said that it was ready, so she'll be back in a minute." Jay said, placing an arm around my shoulder.

I nodded my head as I took a seat in between Jay and Mia. We sat there and talked as we waited for Kaliha to come with the pizza so that we could eat then get started with everything.
