Walter Cronkite was the famous CBS news anchor in the 60's.
He was known for always closing his broadcast with these immortal words, "And That's The Way It Is" then he would say which day of the week it was and the date.
For instance "And That's The Way It Is, Friday, March 6th 1981".
Today we would close the broadcast by saying: "And That's The Way It Is From My Side Of The Facts".
Walter Cronkite would never have uttered the new words, he had that integrity thing.
