It's been a different day
I drove between the lines
And read between the ditches
Where the sky made the land small
Where the houses could fall....on witches
Following a vision quest that may change my sight of reflections
Beware!
The wizards only know what you reveal
Give no hint of your directions
They only give what they know you have
If they had magic, they would win all elections
I know scarecrows never speak
See him staring at me
Looking like he has something to say
I'm not going to wait
I don't stare back
He could read my mind
Just look, don't stay
That's why crows fly away
Observing from my safe place
It seems like everything is affecting my day
The air has become wind
The trees are all talking to me at the same time
Too much chaos
Then the light fades
Now what?
Darkness is where rainbows go to die
It's time to return
Regretting again that nothing can "always" fly
