Don't Want To Sea

No one sails through plastic waters anyway.
Dead fish, bags, bottles, and slime.
I prefer the deep blue sea,
With cool breezes on pretty faces.
Boat drinks with a slice of lime.
Only do what pleases me, ocean's fine.

Earth tells us plenty, mankind is in a fog.
Bad choices or bad habits,
Can't profit from doin the right thing.
Down that famous hole with the rabbit.
Soon no bees or frogs or birds that sing.
From the land of sky blue waters
Comes greed sucking life from others.

Like a slow fire, earth's Gaia
Might shake us off like a wet dog.
Never once thinking this place don't need us.
Earth don't text, tweet, or blog.
We'll see, or maybe not, what there's left to be.
Clean air? Safe lands? Living or dead seas?

And why should we watch the news
If we must decide what side to choose?
Even the commercials are better than the news.
I learned about jellyfish
Helping something or other.
Oh yeah, memory!

Well remember this!
Keep this place clean.
Don't become part of the disposal machine.
The thing they ruin is mankind's dream.
All about me is all we see.
Always want more that's the truth unfurled.
Life goes to hell when they run the world.
