Jace's POV (when they were in College)
"Eli ko, gusto mo mag Chowking?" malambing na tanong ko kay Elise na nakasaklot sa'kin. She glanced at me and smiled, her eyes shining with happiness.
"Siyempre! Libre mo?" she asked and hugged my nape. Inayos ko ang pagkakaupo niya sa hita ko at mas yinakap ang baywang niya.
"Lagi naman kitang nililibre ah?" I laughed lightly. Mas lumawak ang ngiti niya at mabilis akong hinalikan sa noo. She fixed my hair and smiled.
"Okay, Sorin ko. Pero mamaya nalang kasi kailangan ko pa mag review ngayon." she sighed. Tumango naman ako at hinalikan ang pisngi niya.
"It's okay, sasamahan nalang kita." I smiled.
We've both been busy a lot lately, both with school and our personal lives. Which is fine, we still, at least, make time for each other. Kahit saglit lang, at least meron. Once a week is enough.
"You think she'll like this?" I asked my friends and showed them the necklace I chose for Elise. They both nodded at me and said it was perfect for her. I wanted to give her something special so when I saw this, I knew I had to buy it for her.
Ano pa ba ang pwede kong idagdag dito? Malapit na ang anniversary namin kaya dapat special.
I realized that we haven't seen each other a lot recently so I thought of recording myself while doing nothing. I don't know, I just think she'll appreciate it. Para kapag nagre-review siya, pwede niyang i-play nalang 'yung video ko para kunwari ay magkasama kami.
"Eli ko? May time ka ba? Gusto mo, mag date muna tayo? Ang tagal na nating hindi lumalabas na magkasama eh. Kain lang tayo sa Chowking." I asked her one time.
Lately, she's been so distant. Dati naman ay nalakalabas pa'rin kami at least once a week, pero ngayon ay hindi na.
Naiintindihan ko naman na busy siya, busy din naman ako. Pero gusto ko din namang makasama siya palagi, selfish ba ako kapag gano'n? I just miss spending time with her, that's all.
"Busy pa ako, Sorin. Next time nalang. Tsaka marami ka ding kailangang tapusin, 'di ba? Unahin mo nalang muna 'yon." sagot niya. Nakagat ko ang ibabang labi ko at kaagad hinawakan ang braso niya.
