Cassie was in the bathroom while Maddy, Theo and Lexi were eating outside. "Has he texted you?" "No," Lexi sighed in disappointment. "Oh, well maybe he's been busy." "Yeah," Lexi said awkwardly.

"Maybe you should text him first. I mean you do have his sweater still. "Right, I could text him." "Yes, you can be fucking fearless." Lexi thought back to New Year when Fez called her fearless.

He liked that version of her. Why didn't she fucking show him how fearless she could be? "You are absolutely right, I am going to." Theo didn't know what's going on but he knew it was a good thing, so he cheered. "This little man is cheering you on," Maddy said while side hugging the kid.

"The worse that could happen is he doesn't answer right away because he's busy. This guys is head over heels for you he will answer as soon as he can." "Right," Lexi nodded as she felt confident enter her body. Maddy continued playing with Theo. The boy's giggles filled the area.

She grabbed her phone, 'fuck it, text him' . She typed out 'hey fez, this is Lexi' and hit sent. She gasped as she realized she hit send. She read the text over again. Was this a fucking professional email? It was such a lame text, why didn't she ask what to type?

Cassie came back from the bathroom so Lexi tried to remain calm. The sun was setting so they decided to go inside and change. "I'm going to go help, my best friend, Theo get into bed." Maddy was teasing the little boy who was very attached to her. She tickled and chased him on their way to his room.

"Wait it's Thor's bed time?" "Yes, it's about to be 6." Cassie has convinced Nate to go out with her today. He said he would pick her up at 10. She had four hours to get ready.

She was panicking. Her thoughts were interrupted by Maddy walking in with a robe. Theo's parents were going to be out on a business trip so Maddy was staying over to take care of Theo. She walked into the room, sitting down in the couch. "What movie do you girls want to watch?"

Lexi sat down with her, "want to watch a romantic one?" "Or we could watch a scary one," Maddy said while trying to jump scare Lexi. The two giggled as Cassie stood there. "Come on Cassie, sit down." "Well we should probably be going," Cassie started.

"What? It's barely going to be 6, what are we 6." "I just need to get my beauty sleep." Maddy looked at her weird. "Let's go Lexi," Cassie said as she turned towards the entrance of the house.

"Ok, hold on let me grab our bags." "I'll be waiting in the car, don't take too long." "I sent a text," she nervously started. "Cool what did you say?" "Hey Fez, it's Lexi," Lexi said while covering her eyes from embarrassment.

"Ok, that's not that bad. Did he respond?" "No, not yet but I'll let you know if he does." Lexi grabbed the bags and ran out. Maddy waved goodbye to her friends as they left.

It was now 10 and Cassie was sneaking out. Well not really since Lexi was wide awake but she didn't know that. Once Cassie closed the door, Lexi's phone lit up. She checked the contact, excitement settling in. The contact read Fez.
