Lexi dressed cute and casual for the occasion. She knew Maddy would hype her up no matter what and didn't want to appear to try to steal the spotlight. Not that anyone could. Maddy illuminated any room she walked in. The sound of the doorbell snapped her out of her daydream. Lexi moved towards her clock on her bedroom stand, glancing at the time.

It was now 7:10. She rushed down the stairs, knowing it was Maddy. She opened the door right before her mother could. "Mae Mae," Maddy greeted her friend with a hug. "You look so pretty," Lexi screamed back into the hug.

"Thank you," Maddy said while moving into the house to hug Suze. "Happy birthday, my beautiful girl." Suze let Maddy stay when she was having troubles at home, for a whole year. She was like a second mom to her.

The girls were all at the Howard residence by now. All except Ruby Bennett. "You invited Rue right?" "Yes, her and Jules. They didn't let me know when they were coming."

Maddy glanced down at her phone. "I'm going to ask her if she's almost here." Meanwhile Suze started playing throwbacks.
