Lexi woke up around 8 to help her mother grocery shop for food, seeing as they were going to make Maddie's favorite tonight. Along with the cooking supplies, they bought chips, alcohol ect. The two Howard women check on the custom cake they were getting. Lexi pulled out her phone to send her bestie a happy birthday text.

Cassie had woken up late because of her late night adventures. It was 2 when she woke up, her eyes were swollen from all the crying she did the night before. The blonde teen put ice on her eyes to help with the swelling. She was grateful her mother and sister were gone. They were getting things situated for Maddy's birthday.

'Shit, Maddy's birthday,' she realized she forgot to finish her present. She rushed to get it ready, needing about a quarter more to be finished. She looked through it, Maddy was such a good friend. She felt guilty but she knew Maddy and Nate were toxic for each other. Cassie, one the other hand. complimented him.

He seemed to have changed, talked about their future together. He never talked to Maddy about it or at least she never heard about from Maddy that they did. Cassie sighed while closing the finished scrapbook. She wondered what her younger sister got Maddy. Cassie was starting to get jealous of their friendship.

Her sister and best friend were hanging out every day, they were cutting her out of the picture. Or maybe she cut herself out? She sat thinking about if Nate was worth it all, worth losing Maddy or her sister.

Meanwhile, Lexi and Suze cooked and decorated. Lately Suze has been finally focusing on the younger Howard sister. Lexi took the shift as her making sure Lexi didn't end up making the same mistakes Cassie did. They rushed to get the house as tidy as possible. Suze loved Maddy like a daughter so she was being a perfectionist, making sure everything was perfect.
