'Goodmorning!' 'Gusto ko lang nalaman kung paano natutulog yung mga bibe, nakahiga ba?'

I sighed, rolling my eyes at his message as I got ready for the day.

'no, I think they sleep sitting down' I replied, sarcastic.

'bakit naman nakaupo kung natutulog."

I just sent him the eye-roll emoji.

"sunget HHAHAHAHAHHAHA"

"Good Morning class. You may take your seats." Sabi ng advisor namin pagkatapos namin siyang batiin.

"Today, I will be announcing your teams for this year's Intramurals." Pag-announce niya and people started murmering among themselves.

"Quiet down please. Thank you." she knocked on the glass board to get our attention before continuing.

"Before that, I will be telling you the different activities you can join. Bawal ang walang sasalihan, class. If you're not interested in any of the activities, automatic kayong mapupunta sa cheering." She explained.

Many groaned when they heard that. She playfully rolled her eyes at us and continued.

"Last week your Physical Education teacher asked for the class list and started assigning your colors according to your class numbers. If you want to switch teams, you should switch with a member in the team you want to switch into. I'll be announcing the teams now. "

Teams muna ng mga lalaki yung una niyang in-announce kaya nalaman namin na green team si Justin.

The class numbers were alphabetically ordered, because of this, I was girl number two.

"Ms. Castillo. Yellow." She said before giving me a warm smile so I gave her one back. Silently, I hoped that Riley was in Yellow too pero parang imposibleng mangyari yo'n.

Riley was beside me crossing her fingers, hoping she'd be put in the same team as me. I was crossing my fingers too.

"Ms. Herrera?" Riley opened one of her eyes. "Your volleyball coach said you will be in yellow."

Riley took a sigh of relief and silently cheered. Ako naman mahinang pumalakpak. Buti nalang athlete siya!

A frown became evident on our faces when our advisor announced Jasmine's team: "Red."

"Hala." Jasmine silently complained. "Pwede naman akong makipag-pali-"

Justin cut her off. "Bawaaaaal gayahin mo ako, mag-isa lang sa team." He grinned widely.

"Alisin mo nga 'yang ngiti mo, hindi ako natutuwa." She rolled her eyes and Justin just laughed at her.

Pag-katapos ni Ma'am magbigay ng teams, she had more announcements.

May mga nag-iba sa schedule namin, yung ibang mga periods din gagamitin para mag-practice. Tapos may mga half day and whole day practices pa. I felt so excited as I listened! It means walang lessons nun! Char.

She also told us to choose the activity we wanted to join in by the end of the day.

"Mamayang hapon I'll give your class secretary a sheet of paper, she should place it on the teachers' table and you'll put your name below the activity you want to participate in." She continued and closed her notebook.

"If you are still not sure about what you want to participate in, you may only have until tomorrow morning. That's all for today. Your subject teacher is already here. Remain sitting, good bye and thank you class." Paaalam niya.
