"1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8! SMILE, MON! 8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1!" We danced to the routine we had made as Daphne counted for the both of us.

I groaned as I fell to the ground right after. "DAPHNE, PAGOD NA AKO!" 

She laughed bago siya nagpunas ng pawis niya.

It was Friday after school and we were at their house. Sa Monday na yung try-outs at nag-offer siyang tulungan ako sa routine ko. She had been teaching me for a few days now at parang nag-eenjoy pa siya. Godsent.

Kinuha ko yung water bottle ko at uminom ng tubig.

She sat down next to me and drank from her own bottle. "You're okay." She said habang pinupunasan niya ang bibig niya. "They don't really care about skill there."

"So I'm not good?" I chuckled.

"Wala akong sinabi." She smirked. "They just take everyone who can handle the try outs."

"Handle the try outs?"

"Yeah. They'll play any song and you have to pick it up with the counting you made. Flawlessly. That's the next thing we're going to do."

We took a five-minute break and then we got ready again.

She crawled beside the speakers and sat down next to it. "I'll play the song now, remember your smile. 1..2..3.."

The song started playing so I started counting while dancing to the routine. Paulit-ulit na naming ginagawa so I'd be so upset with myself kung nagkamali pa rin ako.

Nakakahiya na rin kasi mula kanina pa ako nagka-kamali. I was thankful because she's patient with me although I'm pretty sure kung nasa dance team ako, nasigawan na niya ako.

"1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8! 8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1! 1-2-3-4! 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8!" Pag-bilang ko as the second song played.

"YOU DID IT!" She clapped while wearing a proud smile. "OKAY NEXT SONG!"

I groaned and took a deep breath bago ako umayos ulit ng tayo. Since siya yung leader ng cheerdancing team nila kaya alam na niya yung mga songs na ginagamit sa auditions.

Nakaka-guilty tuloy dahil parang nandadaya ako. 

Pagka-tapos ng practice, she let me use her shower. Siya naman nag-shower sa kwarto ng kapatid niya.

She walked inside her room with a smile on her face. "We should ask the gc to come hang out with us." 

Nasa trabaho pa parents nila kaya kaming tatlo lang dito nina Daphne at Jasmine.

I just nodded while drying my hair with a towel, masyado nang pagod para makapag-salita. I want to sleep.

Umupo siya sa kama niya at tumango pabalik. "Chat ko na sila. What do you want to do?"

"Swimming." I said jokingly.

Her eyes lit up. "G!"

My eyes widened. "Joke lang, hoy!" I threw the pillow at her direction pero naiwasan niya.

She scowled. "Eh gusto ko nga rin mag-swimming eh. May swimming pool dito sa subdivision."

Kumunot ang kilay ko. "We just took a shower, Daph. And wala na rin akong ibang damit."

"You can change into one of my one piece, silly, tapos suotin mo ulit yan pauwi." She rolled her eyes. "Come on, ayaw mo yun may extra kang ligo today?"

I shrugged "G."

"JASMINE!!" She called for her sister who was just across the hall. Naka-bukas lang yung pinto kaya kayang marinig ni Jasmine.
